Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tire belts, and more particularly to 1 to 5 parts by weight of a bis- (3-triethoxysilylpropyl) -tetra-sulfane, which is used as a silica-bonding material, to a tire belt rubber and a belt. The rubber composition for tire belts which improved the adhesive force between steels.
In order to improve the tire durability performance, it is necessary to improve the adhesive force between the belt rubber (belt compound) and the belt steel, which is known to be a very difficult technique in the case of the belt rubber composition used in conventional tires.
In order to improve the adhesive force between the belt rubber and the belt steel, conventionally, the method of adding excess sulfur to the belt rubber and the method of adding cobalt are mainly used. However, in the case of adding more sulfur than conventional sulfur to improve the adhesion, blooming occurs in the belt rubber, resulting in a decrease in adhesive strength when forming the tire, and in the case of the addition of more cobalt, the heat resistance is reduced and the tire durability is improved. There is a problem that the deterioration occurs.
In order to solve this problem, the inventors have found that bis- (3-triethoxysilylpropyl) -tetra-sulfane, which is used as a silica-bonding material, is used in the rubber composition for tire belts. It has been found that the adhesive force can be improved, thus leading to the present invention.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a rubber composition for a tire belt that can improve the adhesive force between the tire belt rubber and the belt steel.
