Description

Image display element

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an image display device of a portable terminal, and more particularly, to touch by sharing a glass substrate of a touch panel and a glass substrate of a liquid crystal display (LCD). An image display device using a panel and a liquid crystal display device as one body.

1 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional image display element.

In the conventional image display device, the touch panel 100 has a transparent electrode (ITO: Indium Tin Oxide) 103 for supplying a current between the film 101 and the glass substrate 102. In the LCD 100, liquid crystals 113 are injected to opposite surfaces of the glass substrates 112 and 112 ′. Polarizers 111 and 111 'are attached to the outer surfaces of the glass substrates 112 and 112'. In addition, the LCD 110 and the touch panel 100 configured as described above are connected by the double-sided tape 120. That is, the outer surface of the glass substrate 102 of the touch panel 100 and the outer surface of the upper deflection plate 111 ′ of the LCD 110 are connected to each other by a double-sided tape 120. The touch panel 100 is positioned on the LCD 110.

Since the LCD and the touch panel are manufactured in the related art, they are thick and heavy because they are connected by double-sided tape. Therefore, each assembly process and the process of connecting the LCD and the touch panel must be additionally performed, resulting in high price and management and transportation. There was a problem that costly use.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in an effort to provide an image display device in which a glass substrate of a touch panel and a glass substrate of a liquid crystal display device are shared so that the touch panel and the liquid crystal display device are integrally used.

1 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional image display element.

2 is a cross-sectional view of an image display element according to the present invention.

An image display device for solving the technical problem to be achieved by the present invention comprises a first glass substrate; A touch panel spaced apart from the first glass substrate at predetermined intervals to face each other; A liquid crystal layer sealed between an inner surface of the first glass substrate and an inner surface of the touch panel; And a deflection plate adhered to the outer surface of the touch panel and the outer surface of the first glass substrate, respectively.

Hereinafter, with reference to the accompanying drawings will be described in detail the present invention.

2 is a cross-sectional view of an image display element according to the present invention.

The device shown in FIG. 2 is a touch panel 200 formed to be spaced apart from the first glass substrate 211 and the first glass substrate 211 so as to face each other, and the inner surface and the touch panel of the first glass substrate 211. The liquid crystal layer 212 sealed between the inner surfaces of the 200, and the deflection plates 213 and 213 ′ bonded to the outer surface of the touch panel 200 and the outer surface of the first glass substrate 211, respectively. In the present invention, the touch panel 200 includes a second glass substrate 201 adhered to the liquid crystal layer 212, a film 202 adhered to the deflection plate 213 ′, a second glass substrate 201 and a film 202. And a transparent electrode 203 formed therebetween.

Next, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 2.

The touch panel 200 refers to a thin plate attached to a screen so that a user may select desired information with a finger on a screen representing information and input selection information into a computer (not shown). In these plates, the touch of the finger is detected and the position of the finger is converted into coordinates and transmitted to the computer.

The LCD 210 displays a desired shape by controlling the contrast by transmitting or blocking light according to a change in voltage and temperature using a material called liquid crystal, which is an intermediate state between a liquid and a solid.

In the image device of the present invention, the touch panel 200 is first manufactured and then manufactured by inputting it into the process of the LCD 210. In this case, the overlapping processes such as sorting and washing can be reduced.

The touch panel 200 is spaced apart from the first glass substrate 211 at predetermined intervals to face each other. In the touch panel 200, a transparent electrode 203 is formed between the second glass substrate 201 and the transparent film 202 to form an electrode plate. The liquid crystal layer 212 is sealed between the inner surface of the first glass substrate 211 and the inner surface of the second glass substrate 201 of the touch panel 200. Deflection plates 213 and 213 'are formed on the outer surface of the first glass substrate 211 and the outer surface of the film 202 of the touch panel 200, respectively.

The first glass substrate 211 is shared by the touch panel 200 and the LCD 210, and the transparent electrode film treatment of the shared first glass substrate 211 is changed from one side to both sides. Therefore, in the manufacturing process, the double-sided anode glass substrate sorting, cleaning, and IR / UV cleaning processes can be reduced because they overlap. As a result, the thickness of the image display device is reduced, thereby improving the transmittance of the touch panel 200, thereby increasing the brightness of the LCD 210 screen.

The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments and can be modified by those skilled in the art within the spirit of the invention.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the thickness, crab, and fixing of one glass substrate and double-sided tape can be reduced, the cost, management, and transportation thereof can be convenient, and the transmittance of the touch panel can be improved to improve the brightness of the LCD screen. There is an effect to increase.
