Description
The present invention relates to a power supply circuit of a wireless telephone, and more particularly to a power supply circuit of a wireless telephone to control the supply of battery power in accordance with the state of use of the wireless telephone.
As shown in FIG. 1, the power supply circuit of the conventional radiotelephone includes a key input unit 11 for inputting a key to accept various operations, a radio transceiver 12 for transmitting and receiving an RF signal, and operation of all parts. A control unit 13 for controlling the control unit, a main oscillation circuit unit 14 for generating a frequency required for the control unit 13 to operate in an active state, a battery 15 for supplying power to the entire circuit, and the battery ( In the case of the predetermined voltage of 15) or less, the power supply unit 16 to cut off the power of the battery 15 is provided.
The operation of the power supply circuit of the conventional radiotelephone configured as described above is as follows.
When the voltage level is sensed by the power supply unit 16 of the conventional cordless phone and is applied to the control unit 13, the control unit 13 is in the off-hook state when the voltage level applied from the power supply unit 16 is not low voltage. In other words, when not in the standby state, the control unit 13 receives a frequency required for operating in the active state from the main oscillation circuit unit 14.
Thus, the controller 13 receives power from the battery 15 and receives a key from the key input unit 11 to make a call through the wireless transceiver 12.
On the other hand, even when the wireless telephone is not in the off-hook state, that is, in the standby state, the frequency required for operating in the active state is received from the main oscillation circuit unit 14.
Accordingly, the controller 13 receives unnecessary power from the battery 15 to reduce the efficiency of the battery 15.
As such, when a standby state in a conventional cordless phone continues to consume a constant current to the control unit and the peripheral circuit, this current is a real unnecessary consumption current to reduce the battery efficiency to reduce the battery usage time, if the current continues to be consumed There is a problem in that it becomes a complete discharge state has a fatal effect on the life of the battery.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and the main oscillation circuit unit is operated when the wireless phone controller checks the state of use of the wireless phone and operates in the active state, and the auxiliary oscillator is operated in the sleep mode. By operating the oscillator circuit to supply a battery voltage with almost no current consumption, the purpose is to extend the usage time by improving the battery usage efficiency of the cordless telephone.

먼저, 무선 전화기의 전원부(27)에서 배터리(26)의 전압을 감지하여 해당 감지한 전압레벨를 제어부(23)로 인가한다(스텝 S1).First, the power supply unit 27 of the wireless telephone detects the voltage of the battery 26 and applies the detected voltage level to the control unit 23 (step S1).
이에, 제어부(23)에서는 상기 전원부(27)로부터 인가되는 전압레벨이 저 전압 상태인지를 검사하고(스텝 S2), 해당 전압레벨이 저 전압 상태일 경우에 배터리(26)의 전원을 차단한다(스텝 S3).Accordingly, the controller 23 checks whether the voltage level applied from the power supply unit 27 is in the low voltage state (step S2), and cuts off the power of the battery 26 when the voltage level is in the low voltage state (step S2). Step S3).
한편, 상기 제2스텝(S2)에서 상기 전압레벨이 저 전압 상태가 아닐 경우에 제어부(23)에서 대기상태인지 즉, 무선 전화기를 오프훅 하지 않는 상태인지를 검출한다(스텝 S4).On the other hand, when the voltage level is not in the low voltage state in the second step S2, the controller 23 detects whether the controller 23 is in a standby state, that is, a state in which the wireless telephone is not off-hook (step S4).
이에, 무선 전화기가 대기상태일 경우에 즉, 제어부(23)에서 주변회로를 제어하지 않고 슬립 모드로 동작할 경우에 보조발진회로부(25)를 온시켜 동작 수행시키고, 해당 보조발진회로부(25)에서는 슬립 모드상태에서 동작 가능한 필요한 주파수를 발생시켜 제어부(23)로 인가한다(스텝 S5).Accordingly, when the wireless telephone is in a standby state, that is, when the control unit 23 operates in the sleep mode without controlling the peripheral circuit, the auxiliary oscillator circuit 25 is turned on to perform the operation, and the auxiliary oscillator circuit 25 is operated.
