본 발명은 디스플레이 장치(Display Apparatus)에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로는 사용자가 수동으로 전원 절약 모드(Power Saving Mode)를 수행시킬 수 있는 디스플레이 장치에 관한 것으로, 모니터를 통해 디스플레이 되는 사용자 제어 메뉴(User Control Menu)를 통하여 사용자가 전원 절약 모드를 선택하면, 모니터는 이를 인식하여 컴퓨터 본체로 해당되는 신호를 출력하고, 컴퓨터 본체(30)는 이에 응답하여 전원 절약 모드를 수행하게 되고, 이에 따라 디스플레이 장치도 전원 절약 모드로 동작하게 된다.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1.
