Description
The present invention relates to pneumatic tires for trucks and low-weight trucks, and more particularly to the durability and durability of the tires for passenger cars and low-weight trucks, and to high-weight materials and fiber cords with a capply code. It relates to a pneumatic tire to which an aramid cord is applied.
In general, one of the major accidents for passenger cars and low-weight truck tires is that the belt is made of steel cord, so that the belt is peeled off due to high centrifugal force when driving. Therefore, the cap fly is applied to improve the tire durability by fixing the belt.
These cap plies are used to increase the cam fly's strength as the high speed driving is applied. As a method for increasing the cap ply's strength, the cap plies are applied to multiple cap plies or to increase the cord array density.
Nylon-66 (NYLON-66) cord, which is mainly applied as a cap ply cord, has insufficient strength, so it is common to use a thick cord or to apply two or more cap plies.
Therefore, the tire weight is increased and the tire volume is turned on, which is disadvantageous to heat release, which is a factor of lowering durability.
Therefore, the present inventors found out that by changing the existing cam fly cord material to a high strength and fibrous aramid cord while conducting research to solve this problem, it was found that the durability and the tire weight could be reduced. The invention has been completed.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a high durability and low weight passenger car and low weight truck pneumatic tire using an aramid cord as a cam fly cord material.

The pneumatic tire according to the present invention is characterized by applying an aramid cord, which is a strong material and a fiber cord, as a capply cord for durability and weight reduction of a passenger car and a low weight truck tire. Rubber rolled rolls are wound once or twice with cap plies to be used for tire production.
The properties of conventional nylon-66 cord and aramid cord are summarized in Table 1. As shown in Table 1, aramid cord, which is the same cord thickness, is about twice as strong as nylon-66.
Therefore, the application of aramid cord to the cam fly has the following advantages.
First, when the aramid cord of the same thickness as the existing nylon-66 is applied, the strength of the cam fly is greatly increased and the durability is improved.
Second, in the case of high-speed driving tires using two existing nylon-66 cap plies, one aramid cap ply can be applied to one piece, which reduces tire thickness and is advantageous for heat dissipation, improving durability and saving weight. Savings.
Third, when the aramid cord is applied to the cord less cord than the existing nylon-66 cord can be applied for durability improvement and tire weight is reduced.
