Claims (3)
- 역양자화부, 역DCT부 및 음직임 보상부를 갖는 HDTV의 영상포멧 변환장치에 있어서,입력된 비트 스트림을 복호화하고 SD영상 입력여부를 감지하여 그에 따른 신호를 출력하는 가변장 복호부;상기 역양자화부의 출력데이타에서 영상의 대각선성분을 검출하고 그에 따른 신호를 출력하는 검출부;상기 가변장 복호부의 신호 및 상기 검출부의 신호에 따라 상기 역DCT부의 출력데이타와 상기 음직임 보상부의 출력데이타가 가산된 데이타를 보간 및 포멧 변환하는 포멧 변환부를 포함하여 구성됨을 특징으로 하는 HDTV의 영상포멧 변환장치.
- SD영상 데이타의 입력여부를 감지하는 단계;상기 SD영상 데이타에서 영상의 대각선성분을 검출하는 단계;상기 SD영상 데이타에서 영상의 대각선 성분을 검출하는 단계에서 대각선 성분이 검출된 SD영상 데이타를 일정 보간식에 따라 보간하여 포멧변환하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 HDTV의 영상포멧 변환방법.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 SD영상 데이타에서 영상의 대각선성분을 검출하는 단계는 SD영상 데이타의 DCT계수에 따라 영상의 대각선성분을 검출함을 특징으로 하는 HDTV의 영상포멧 변환방법.
