Description
The present invention relates to a connector, and more particularly, to maintain a twisted structure of a twisted cable composed of a plurality of wires in a twisted relationship without using additional components and to prevent open-eye occurrence. It relates to a connector that can be assembled and has excellent assembly properties.
Electrical components provided in vehicles and the like apply a connector structure to apply and receive signals, grounds, power, and the like. In general, in a process of coupling a connector housing and a terminal electrically connected to a wire when manufacturing a connector, a worker holds an end of a wire and inserts and fixes the terminal into the housing.
Meanwhile, in order to eliminate signal noise, a twisted cable in which a plurality of wires are twisted with each other is used for Ethernet communication. The twisted cable can reduce electromagnetic noise because the magnetic fields generated by the flow of current respectively transmitted to the wires in a twisted relationship can be mutually canceled. Considering this point, it is very advantageous for the electrical performance of the twisted cable to maintain a twisted structure between a plurality of wires.
By the way, in applying the connector structure to the twisted cable, if the method of pinching the end of the wire and pushing it into the connector housing as in the conventional connector manufacturing method is applied, the end of the wire is parallel to each other over a certain length by removing the twisted structure. They must be placed in a single structure. In particular, an open-eye phenomenon in which the shapes of wires are changed convexly in opposite directions in regions corresponding to each other by a pushing force or the like may occur.
In this way, according to the conventional connector structure or manufacturing method, a section in which the twisted structure of the twisted cable wire is destroyed or an open eye phenomenon of the wire may occur, thereby causing a problem such as signal distortion. In particular, Ethernet connectors for signal transmission with low current and low voltage characteristics can cause not only signal distortion due to twist breakage or open eye phenomenon, but also abnormal output of digital devices due to signal distortion. Anomalies in the equipment may occur during driving due to signal errors in several control units.
Conventionally, in order to maintain the twisted structure of the twisted cable, an additional fixed structure or jacketed twisted cable is used, or an automated facility is provided to minimize the section where the twisted structure is released during assembly. However, since all of these conventional solutions require additional components or additional assembly facilities, the production cost increases.

Accordingly, the present invention can maintain the twisted structure of a twisted cable composed of a plurality of wires in a twisted relationship without using additional components, prevent the occurrence of open-eye, and have excellent assemblability. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a lower housing of a connector according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view of the lower housing taken along line C-C′ of FIG. 6 .
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, the
During the assembly process, the terminal 30 is inserted from one end to the other end of the
At the other end of the
A sliding
In addition, one end of the
8 is a perspective view showing a terminal fixing member of a connector according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 9 (a) to (c) are front, side, and rear views of the terminal fixing member shown in FIG. 8, respectively. am. The shape of the
A sliding
In addition, the
Referring again to Fig. 1,
