Description
The present application relates to a dual structure balloon catheter.
When stenosis occurs in the blood vessels inside the human body or when there is a problem of narrowing the blood vessels for various reasons, move and install medical members for vascular expansion including balloons and stents to the location in the blood vessel where the problem occurs and get the treatment done.
In particular, angioplasty is widely used as an intervention for treating diseases in which blood vessels are narrowed. In angioplasty, a balloon, a stent, or both a balloon and a stent are delivered through a guide wire and a conduit to the point where the problem occurs (lesion site), and then the balloon or stent is inflated to dilate the blood vessels.
On the other hand, in relation to angioplasty, referring to FIG. 1, a
However, when the above-mentioned drug is coated and released to the lesion site, the balloon catheter itself is inserted through the blood vessel, so when the catheter arrives at the actual lesion site due to wash-up by the blood flow and blood vessel inner wall There is a problem with the lack of drugs. In addition, in order to prevent this, more drugs are coated, and there is a problem in that side effects occur accordingly.

It may include two conduit parts, and the first balloon part may be partitioned and provided without communicating with the second balloon part so that the supplied fluid does not leak to the outside.
In addition, the second balloon portion may include a plurality of holes to pass the fluid supplied from the second conduit portion to the outside.
In addition, the size of the hole may be set according to the lesion site.
