Description
The present invention relates to a power control system having an Energy Storage System (ESS), and more particularly, to a power control system for resupplying shifted power to minimize SoC load of the ESS.
The issue of supply and demand for electricity has been around for a long time. If the power supply does not meet the demand, problems such as power outages occur. To this end, methods for responding to peak loads such as ESS (Energy Storage System) and load shifts, where demand is rapidly increasing, are being studied.
ESS is a system that can store electric power and is attracting attention as a replacement for emergency power.
Load shifting is a method to reduce the power supplied to shiftable devices in an emergency by classifying devices into shiftable and non-shiftable devices. It minimizes the power supply to the shiftable device, and powers the shiftable device along with the shifted power when the load is stable. In this regard, in power supply to a device, a device that can be shifted by power or time is classified as a shiftable appliance, and a non-shiftable appliance is classified as a non-shiftable appliance, and the shift Capable of controlling the load on the device to avoid worst-case scenarios such as power outages.
A non-shiftable device is a device that may cause a major problem if the supply power is reduced, such as a refrigerator.
Shiftable devices are devices that are less likely to cause problems than non-shiftable devices even when supply power is reduced, for example, devices such as boilers.
In other words, a shiftable device refers to a device that can divide and supply power supplied to electronic products, etc. As a driving method of a shiftable device, a time shift method and a power shift method are representative. It is supplied later, and the power shift method is to lower the supplied power to supply it.
As such, the load shift can be classified into a power shift and a time shift. Power-shiftable devices must receive a minimum amount of power and can shift excess power. A time shift capable device can shift all the power it receives in case of an emergency.
Shift-capable devices can define their respective criticality levels and order the devices to perform a load shift according to their criticality in case of an emergency. In general, the shifted supply power with a load shift supplies shifted power again at a spare time when peak loads are avoided.
ESS의 SoC(State of Charge)는 ESS의 전력 충전량으로서, ESS 관리에 있어서 중요한 개념이다. The SoC (State of Charge) of the ESS is the amount of power charged in the ESS, and is an important concept in ESS management. The ESS must have a minimum SoC to maintain its own power. In addition, since SoC of ESS means the amount of power that can respond in case of emergency, the operation mechanism of the power control system must be effectively established according to the corresponding value.
If the balance of power supply and demand is stabilized, the shifted power must be supplied again. However, since the ESS has a limited SoC that can respond, there is a problem in that it cannot compensate for power supply to all devices when the number of devices with power shift is large. If the power supply compensation method is not appropriate, it is impossible to guarantee a stable SoC of the ESS. Therefore, there is a need for an effective resupply method of the shifted power.
That is, when the SoC of the ESS is in an unstable state, the shifted power is accumulated and compensated in a stable state. If the compensation of the shifted power is insufficient, it causes uncertainty to the consumer, and the unconditional shifted power compensation is the ESS. Because it puts a load on the SoC, an appropriate operating system is required.
The present invention has been devised to solve the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method of compensating for shifted power while minimizing the load in a stable time period of the SoC of the ESS.

Through this, it is possible to minimize the case where the SoC of the ESS is lowered, so that electricity is urgently purchased from a power provider or the minimum power to maintain the power of the ESS cannot be maintained.
