Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a clip for fixing a fracture, and more particularly, it can be stably attached to a fracture site, and can minimize damage to muscles and nerves around a fractured area by preventing distortion of the fracture site in a state where bonding is completed. It relates to a clip for fixing fractures.
Currently, surgical fracture treatment is generally fixed to the fracture area with a metal nail or a metal plate and screws. However, if a metal object such as an artificial joint is inserted in the proximal part of the fracture, the current standard fixing method using a metal nail, metal plate, and screw cannot be implemented, and a metal plate (support) is used in the fracture area. After attaching it, fix it by wrapping it using a steel wire.
Fig. 1 (a) is an X-ray photograph in which a fracture occurred in a state in which an artificial joint was inserted, and Fig. 1 (B) is an X-ray photograph showing a state in which the fracture site was fixed and treated.
That is, in the (b) photo of FIG. 1, a support (iron plate) is applied to treat the fracture, the distal part (the part without an artificial joint) is wrapped with a screw, and the proximal part (the part where the artificial joint is inserted) is wrapped with a steel wire. am.
Therefore, as shown in Fig. 1 (b), after cutting the skin around the fractured bone 3 and attaching a metal plate or support formed of metal to the fractured part of the bone, the wire 2 is wound around the metal plate and the bone to fix it. After the operation was performed and the bones of the fractured part were fused, it was common to perform a secondary operation to remove the internal metal fixture.
However, in the prior art, in the process of winding and fixing the wire 2 together with the metal plate and the bone of the fractured portion, the possibility of damage to the blood vessels and nerves around the fractured portion and the damage to the muscle occurred.
In addition, for good union to work, the blood supply to the fractured bone must be smooth, but the method of completely enclosing the bone using a wire blocks blood circulation to the bone, delaying the bone union and causing problems such as non-union (bone does not stick). make it
In addition, the operator needs a skilled technique to minimize damage to the surrounding nerves, muscles and blood vessels by binding the wire as close as possible to the bone of the fractured part. There is a limit where damage cannot be completely prevented.
Accordingly, the present applicant has recently developed an internal fixation using a partially enveloping method that reduces the risk of blood vessel and nerve damage and does not block blood circulation (Patent Registration No. 10-1624953). However, it is vulnerable to torsion, which is the fundamental limitation of the wrapping method, so it is required to develop a fixed material that can resist torsion.
The present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to minimize damage to blood vessels and nerves, which was the previous invention, and to reinforce additional elements in an internal fixture that can minimize blood flow restriction at the fracture site to reinforce the fracture site. It is to provide a clip capable of stably maintaining the fractured part in a subdued state by preventing the distortion of the bone.

9 is a view showing an example in which the locking projections are formed on the inner surface of the torsion preventing body of the clip body according to the present invention.

That is, a plurality of locking projections P are formed on the inner surfaces of the
In addition, the plurality of locking projections (P) may be configured to have a wedge shape according to the above purpose.
Through the above configuration, the present invention not only wraps the bone in which the fracture site is formed, but also implements the shape of a clip in a T shape to fix the torsion-preventing body to the bone using a screw member, thereby resisting the external force of torsion. Fractures can be more stable. Accordingly, the present invention can solve the conventional problem of generating an unstable state of the fractured part by simply enclosing the bone and failing to resist the external force of torsion.
In conclusion, the present invention can reduce blood flow blockage by configuring a C-shaped clip body and a torsion preventing body protruding from the center of the clip body, and minimize nerve and blood vessel damage, and also screw the torsion preventing body with screws. By fixing it to the bone using a screw member, it can withstand torsion caused by an external force.
In addition, although not shown in the drawings, a pair of auxiliary bodies are formed at both ends of the
In addition, the clip body according to the present invention and the rim of the torsion preventing body form a round side.
Accordingly, when the clip is in close contact with the curvature of the bone, frictional force generated between the edge of the clip and the curvature of the bone is reduced to prevent minute scratches on the curvature of the bone and damage to the surrounding muscles.

The present invention is not limited to the specific preferred embodiments described above, and without departing from the gist of the present invention as claimed in the claims, anyone with ordinary skill in the art to which the invention pertains can implement various modifications. Of course, such modifications are intended to be within the scope of the claims.
