적어도 하나의 발포폼과 단열시트를 적층하여 커버베이스를 제작하는 커버베이스제작단계; 및
상기 커버베이스의 발포폼이 내측에 위치하도록 하여 수도계량기의 외형에 대응하는 형상으로 계량기커버를 가공하는 커버가공단계;를 포함하고,
상기 발포폼은,
고단열성 발포폼인 PE(Poly Ethylene) 또는 EVA(Ethylene Vinyl Acetate copolymer)로 형성되고,
상기 단열시트는,
방수단열시트인 PVC(Poly Vinyl Chloride)로 형성되며,
상기 커버베이스제작단계는,
PE재질 또는 EVA재질의 고단열성 발포폼의 외측면에 PVC재질의 방수단열시트를 부착하는 라미네이팅과정;을 포함하고,
상기 라미네이팅과정은,
PE재질 또는 EVA재질의 고단열성 발포폼의 외측면에 접착제를 도포하는 접착제도포과정;
상기 접착제를 젤상태로 경화시키는 접착제경화과정; 및
젤상태의 접착제에 PVC재질의 방수단열시트을 가압하여 부착시키는 시트부착과정;을 포함하고,
상기 접착제경화과정은,
일정시간이 경과되어 상기 접착제의 일부가 상기 발포폼의 외측면으로 스며들게 한 상태에서 젤상태로 경화하여 비정형 형태의 돌기를 형성하고, 상기 접착제가 구조적으로 발포폼의 외측면에 결합되며,
상기 발포폼은 상기 돌기에 결합되고,
상기 시트부착과정은,
젤상태로 경화되고 일면이 발포폼 측으로 비정형 돌기가 형성되어 발포폼의 외측면에 결합된 접착제의 타면에 PVC재질의 방수단열시트가 가압되어 부착되며,
상기 커버가공단계는,
상기 커버베이스의 길이방향을 따라 형성되는 중심부(수도계량기의 길이방향 중심선에 대응함)를 기준으로 좌측과 우측을 각각 수도계량기의 좌측면형상과 우측면형상에 대응하도록 가공하며,
상기 길이방향을 따라 형성되는 중심부를 따라 힌지부를 형성하고, 상기 힌지부를 중심으로 좌측과 우측이 회동되도록 가공하고,
상기 힌지부는,
접히고 펼쳐질 수 있도록 발포폼을 포함하지 않고 단열시트만으로 형성되고,
타 부분에 비하여 두께를 얇게 형성하도록 힌지부를 구성하는 단열시트 부분을 열압착하여 형성되며,
상기 힌지부는 적어도 일부분이 상기 중심을 기준으로 좌측과 우측의 단열시트가 일정 너비로 2겹으로 중첩된 형태로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 수도계량기용 보호커버 제조방법.
