Abstract
본 발명은 열과 pH에 따라 색상이 변화하는 자소 안토시아닌 포화 수용액의 성질을 활용하여 온도와 pH를 추정할 수 있게 하는 CIE Lab 색공간을 기준으로 한 색좌표에 관한 것으로, 경제적, 환경적 비용이 발생하는 폐수처리 없이도 자소 안토시아닌 포화 수용액의 온도와 pH를 추정할 수 있다.
Description
본 발명은 열과 pH에 따라 색상이 변화하는 자소 안토시아닌 포화 수용액의 성질을 활용하여 온도와 pH를 추정할 수 있게 하는 색좌표에 관한 것이다.
자소는 한국, 중국, 일본 등 동남아시아 지역에서 관찰되며 대한민국 전국 각지에 자생하여 분포하는 피자식물문, 쌍자엽식물강, 통화식물목, 꿀풀과, 들깨속의 식물이다. 자소는 특이한 성질이 있는데, 바로 추출물의 색상이 다양한 조건에서 다르게 나타난다는 것이다. 이는 자소에 포함된 안토시아닌에 의한 것이다.
안토시아닌은 뿌리, 줄기, 잎, 꽃, 열매 등에 함유된 자색, 청색, 적색의 수용성 플라보노이드계 식물색소로서 식물색소의 일종으로 식물체내에서는 세포질 혹은 액포 내에 배당체로 존재한다(비특허문헌 0001 참조). 안토시아닌은 산소 혹은 산으로 가수분해하면 당과 당이 제외된 부분(aglycone)으로 분리되는데, 이 아글리콘을 안토사이아니딘(anthocyanidin)이라 칭한다. 안토시아닌의 종류로는 펠라르고닌(pelagonin), 시아닌(cyanin) 등 많은 것이 알려져 있으나 이는 당의 부착방식에 따라 6군 18클래스로 분류된다. 당은 글루코오스, 갈락토오스, 람노오스, 크실로오스 등으로 자연계에서는 안토시아니딘의 3번 위치와 5번 위치 또는 양쪽의 수산기에 결합되어 있다. 한국산 차조기에는 Cyanin, Cyanidin-3-O-glucoside, Caffeycianin, Shisonin, Cyanidin-3-O-coumaryl glucoside라는 총 5가지의 안토시아닌 색소가 함유되어 있다.
일반적으로 온도를 추정하기 위해 열변색 지시약으로 쓰이는 열변색 염료는 '수질 및 수자원 생태계 보전에 관한 법률'에 따라 실험 폐수 구분 중 ‘유기물’로 분류·처리되어야 한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본 연구자가 과학을 지도한 경험이 있는 초등교사 40명을 대상으로 조사한 결과, 응답자의 대부분이 염료를 사용하며 발생한 사용 폐수를 하수구에 흘려보내며 관련법을 위반하고 환경을 오염시키는 문제가 있었다.
또한, pH를 추정하기 위해 pH지시약으로 쓰이는 인공 지시약들은 각 성분에 따라 폐수처리를 해야 하므로 경제적, 환경적 문제를 초래하였다.

종래기술의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 본 발명의 목적은 경제적, 환경적 비용이 발생하는 폐수처리 없이도 온도와 pH를 추정할 수 있는 자소 안토시아닌 포화 수용액의 열 및 pH 감응에 따른 색좌표를 제공함에 있다.

상기 색좌표는 수치를 색으로 표현한 비색표로 표현될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 열과 pH에 따라 색상이 변화하는 한국산 자소 안토시아닌 포화 수용액 색좌표를 활용하여 대상 자소 안토시아닌 용액의 온도와 pH를 추정할 수 있다.
또한 본 발명에 따른 한국산 자소 안토시아닌 포화 수용액은 폐수처리가 필요없어 친환경 열 및 pH 지시약으로 활용할 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명이 속하는 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자가 용이하게 실시할 수 있도록 본 발명의 실시에 대하여 첨부한 도면을 참고로 하여 상세히 설명한다. 그러나 본 발명은 여러 가지 상이한 형태로 구현될 수 있으며 여기에서 설명하는 실시예에 한정되지 않는다.
