Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a high-pressure solenoid valve, and more particularly, by applying a PTC element to a high-pressure solenoid valve used for on-off control of a high-pressure gas such as hydrogen, malfunction due to heat generation or thermal The present invention relates to a method for controlling on-off of a high-pressure solenoid valve using a PTC element that minimizes damage and has a compact configuration in which the size of a solenoid valve is reduced, and durability is remarkably improved.
In general, a solenoid valve is installed in a power train including an engine of a vehicle to regulate the flow of fluids such as fuel and oil or to control pressure. For example, the fuel system controls the supply and injection of fuel, the cooling system controls fluid circulation for lubrication and cooling, and the power transmission system controls pressure.
Conventional on-off or proportional control solenoid valves for controlling high pressure fluids such as hydrogen are installed in a hydrogen cylinder to supply or cut off hydrogen or on a flow path connecting a jet pump and a hydrogen tank of a fuel cell system. It is mounted on the inlet side of the jet pump to change the nozzle inlet pressure of the jet pump and to control the hydrogen supply flow rate. In general, a valve body with a flow path for transporting the fluid supplied from the outside and rising or falling by a solenoid It comprises a plunger, a valve element provided at the lower end of the plunger to open or close the flow path, and a spring that presses the plunger in the direction of closing the flow path.
In the conventional solenoid valve, a single coil is used to drive the plunger.
However, in the case of a high-pressure solenoid valve used for high-pressure fluid such as hydrogen, a large electromagnetic force is required during initial operation in order to overcome the high pressure and open the valve by driving the plunger in a state where the valve is closed by being pressed by high pressure. Accordingly, the size of the solenoid had to be increased in order to sufficiently secure the electromagnetic force.
However, as the demand for miniaturization and weight reduction of hydrogen vehicles has recently increased, the demand for miniaturization and weight reduction of solenoid valves is rapidly increasing. Therefore, in order to make the solenoid valve smaller and lighter, it is necessary to reduce the size of the solenoid. Even at this time, a large force to control high pressure must be maintained.
To this end, conventionally, a large-diameter coil is mainly used to reduce the resistance of the coil to increase the current flowing through the coil to generate a large force, or an electronic controller is installed to supply a large current during operation and a small current after operation. A method of applying'Pick & Hold' signals is being tried. However, if a coil with a large diameter as described above is used, the resistance of the coil is lowered and a high current flows. Therefore, the electromagnetic force increases once, but the amount of heat also increases rapidly, and when the solenoid valve is used for a long time, the coil starts to generate heat and the coil temperature is Since the insulation breakdown temperature of the coil is higher than the insulation breakdown temperature of the coil, the film is damaged or the internal controller is burned, which can cause short circuits, and even serious safety accidents such as fire. There was a problem that the system was complicated and the cost was increased.
On the other hand, as another alternative to the single coil, a solenoid valve with a dual coil structure in which the coil of the solenoid is doubled, and when the initial valve is driven and the operating state is maintained after the initial driving, current is applied to each other by crossing each other. Has been developed.
One example of such a dual coil structure solenoid valve is disclosed in detail in Korean Patent No. 0743919 (hereinafter referred to as'prior literature').
Referring to FIG. 1 below, in the conventional dual coil structure solenoid valve disclosed in the prior literature, the
However, the conventional dual coil structure solenoid valve disclosed in the prior patent uses separate controllers for the pulling coil and the holding coil, and applies power only to the polling coil during initial driving, and powers only to the holding coil when the operation is maintained after initial driving. The circuit configuration is complicated, such as a separate switching controller must be provided for this in a method of applying separately, and the size of the valve increases.
In addition, heat is likely to occur in the folding coil as power is applied solely to the folding coil during control for initial operation, and the heating damages the insulation coating of the coil, causing a malfunction due to a short circuit or safety accidents such as fire. There is still an urgent need for improvement.
Accordingly, the present invention has been invented to solve the above problems, and the present invention has a compact configuration by reducing the size of a solenoid, but exhibits a large force in a peak mode for initial driving in a high pressure environment. Together, after the initial operation, it is stably switched to the hold mode, which prevents safety accidents such as solenoid damage, malfunction, coil heat generation, and fire due to overcurrent on and off control of the high pressure solenoid valve. It aims to provide a method.

Here, the solenoid coil has a double coil structure, and the configuration of the solenoid coil will now be described in detail according to an embodiment.
First, a
At this time, the diameters of the first and
More specifically, according to an embodiment, the
(도 5a, b 참조)Meanwhile, a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient)
In general, the
According to an embodiment, in the present invention, the
On the other hand, around the
In addition, a
At this time, the hollow 540a of the
Meanwhile, the fluid leaked through the hollow 540a of the core 540 leaks into the gap between the outer diameter of the
At this time, the
In addition, a recess (not shown) is formed in the middle portion of the
At this time, as shown in FIG. 3, a constant interval is maintained between the locking
In addition, a main valve 710 is integrally coupled to a lower end of the
At this time, looking at the configuration of the
In addition, since the
In addition, at least one supply hole 501 is formed around the side stop of the
In addition, as a screw is formed on the upper outer circumferential surface of the
Hereinafter, an operation relationship of the high-pressure solenoid valve according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. 4.
First, the high-pressure solenoid valve according to the present invention is a normally closed type solenoid valve in which the pressure of a high-pressure fluid such as hydrogen acts in the direction in which the valve is closed. For example, a 12V DC power is applied to turn the valve on and off ( On-Off) can be controlled.
The operation relationship of on-off control of a valve by a solenoid having a double coil structure according to the present invention will be described in detail in FIG. 5 to be described later.
In this case, it is understood that an electric magnetic force for moving the
4A is a diagram illustrating an operation state of a high-pressure solenoid valve according to the present invention when power is turned off.
Referring to FIG. 4A, first, a state in which the high-pressure solenoid valve of the present invention is closed (the solenoid valve is closed). At this time, when the valve is in the ON/OFF control state, there is no voltage applied to the
Therefore, when the power is turned off as described above, only the repulsive force of the
That is, by the repulsive force of the
At this time, on the upper surface of the
Meanwhile, after assembling each part, the position of the
4B is a diagram illustrating an operation state of the high-pressure solenoid valve according to the present invention in a power-on state.
As shown in FIG. 4B, when power is applied to the
At this time, the electromagnetic force acting on the
Once the
Accordingly, the high pressure (supply pressure) fluid acting on the upper surface of the
That is, when the flow path of the
Hereinafter, a detailed look at the on-off control operation relationship of the dual coil solenoid according to the present invention with reference to FIG. 5 is as follows.
First, FIG. 5A is a control circuit diagram in a peak mode when the high pressure solenoid valve according to the present invention is initially driven.
Referring to FIG. 5A, when the valve is first opened, the valve pressed by high pressure must be opened by applying a strong electromagnetic force. In this case, the solenoid of the double coil structure is driven in a peak mode.
At this time, by simultaneously applying a predetermined voltage (eg, 12V) to the
R병렬 = = = 1.75ΩR parallel = = = 1.75Ω
And when the combined resistance is calculated by adding the resistance value (for example, 1.5Ω) of the
Next, when the current value (I 2 ) of the output terminal of the
Therefore, in the peak mode, currents of 0.76A (I 1 ) and 3.69A (I 2 ) act on the
Meanwhile, FIG. 5B is a control circuit diagram in a hold mode after initial driving of the high pressure solenoid valve according to the present invention.
Referring to FIG. 5B, when a current flows through the
In this case, assuming that the
Therefore, in the hold mode, the current value I 2 at the output terminal of the
Therefore, in the hold mode, a current of 1.2A is applied to the
Accordingly, since overcurrent is prevented from being applied to the first and
