- 사용자의 경험에 의해 뇌에 각인된 공포 기억과 관련된 뇌 심부의 관심 영역을 확인하기 위해 상기 사용자의 뇌 영상을 획득하고,
상기 사용자의 뇌에 각인된 공포 기억의 양상에 따라 다르게 형성되는 피질-피질하 부위에 관한 연결성 정보를 이용하여 상기 사용자에게 패치 또는 전극을 부착할 위치와 신경 조절술의 세기를 결정하고,
상기 결정된 위치에 부착된 패치 또는 전극을 통해 상기 뇌 심부의 관심 영역을 자극하여 상기 뇌에 각인된 공포 기억을 소거하는 프로세서
를 포함하며,
상기 프로세서는,
상기 뇌 영상에 포함된 확산 텐서 영상 및 기능적 자기 공명 영상을 분석하여 뇌 심부의 피질하 구조물과 각 뇌 피질 영역을 연결하는 신경다발의 개수와 밀도 및 기능적 연결성을 계산하고,
상기 결정된 위치의 뇌 피질 영역을 연결하는 신경다발의 개수와 밀도 및 기능적 연결성에 반비례하도록 상기 신경 조절술의 세기를 결정하는 공포 기억 소거 장치. - 제8항에 있어서,
상기 프로세서는,
1) 뇌 심부 사이의 이완 시간이 반영된 강조 영상, 2) 상기 뇌 심부의 척수 신경로를 시각화한 확산 텐서 영상 및 3) 뇌 심부에 대한 휴지기 상태의 기능적 자기 공명 영상을 포함하는 뇌 영상을 획득하는 공포 기억 소거 장치. - 제9항에 있어서,
상기 프로세서는,
상기 강조 영상을 기반으로 상기 사용자의 피질 영역 지도를 이용하여 상기 위치를 결정하는 공포 기억 소거 장치. - 제10항에 있어서,

상기 기능적 연결성은,
상기 휴지기 상태의 기능적 자기 공명 영상을 분석하여 뇌 심부의 피질하 구조물의 활성도와 상관 관계를 가지는 뇌 피질 영역으로 나타나는 영역 정보와 뇌 심부의 피질하 구조물과 피질 구조물 간 활성도의 상관 관계 지수로 나타나는 세기 정보를 포함하는 공포 기억 소거 장치. - 제8항에 있어서,
상기 프로세서는,
구조적 연결성의 영역 정보와 세기 정보 및 기능적 연결성의 영역 정보와 세기 정보를 기반으로 뇌 피질 영역을 자극하여, 상기 뇌 심부의 관심 영역에 대한 활성화 정도를 간접적으로 억제해 상기 공포 기억을 소거하는 공포 기억 소거 장치.
