Description
The present invention relates to a method for depositing silicon powder, and more particularly, to a method for producing a carbon fiber-like silicon layer for solar cells.
The silicon solar cell includes a silicon substrate and an emitter layer each made of a conductive semiconductor, and electrodes formed on the silicon substrate and the emitter layer, respectively.
In the solar cell, when solar light is incident, a plurality of electron hole pairs are generated, and the generated electron hole pairs are separated into a writer and a hole by a photovoltaic effect, respectively, and are each n-type semiconductor and p-type semiconductor. To the side. That is, the author moves toward the emitter layer, the holes move toward the silicon substrate, and are collected by electrodes electrically connected to the silicon substrate and the emitter layer.
The method of manufacturing a silicon solar cell may be divided into preparing a silicon substrate, forming an emitter layer on the prepared silicon substrate, forming a passivation, and forming an electrode.
Particularly, in the stage of preparing a silicon substrate, crystalline silicon has a limitation in cost reduction because the cost of the substrate material accounts for a high proportion of the overall price and requires an intermittent and complicated process. In addition, the recent surge in the price of silicon raw materials is a burden on the development cost of the overall photovoltaic system.
In order to overcome this problem, a thin film solar cell has been proposed as an alternative along with a technology for reducing the thickness of a silicon wafer. Thin film solar cell uses few thin films as solar cell light absorbing layer, so it consumes very little raw materials, and because it uses semiconductor process, continuous process is possible.
When the thickness of the silicon wafer is thin, not only the manufacturing cost may be reduced, but also flexibility may be generated and the characteristics may be bent, while the strength of the silicon wafer may be sharply lowered, thereby weakening the impact and lowering the yield.
Silicon thin film solar cells are divided into amorphous silicon and polysilicon micro crystalline silicon according to deposition conditions or by a post-treatment process by sputtering or plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD).
The silicon thin film solar cell is divided into a thin film solar cell having one thin film of amorphous or micro crystalline silicon as a light absorbing layer and a double junction structure solar cell having two light absorbing layers of amorphous and micro crystal silicon thin film as a double junction structure.
The single junction structure solar cell has an advantage that the manufacturing cost is very low, but the stabilization efficiency of the solar cell is low due to the deterioration characteristic by the absorption of the light of amorphous silicon. The double junction structure solar cell shows relatively higher efficiency than the single junction structure solar cell, but the increase in efficiency is not very high, and the process is more than twice as complicated and the production efficiency is also low.
