Abstract
Description
The present disclosure relates to a water / air separator of a boiler, and more particularly, to a water / air separator for removing air generated in a pipe during heating of a boiler to increase heating efficiency.
Unless otherwise indicated herein, the contents described in this identification are not prior art to the claims of this application and the description in this identification is not admitted to be prior art.
In general, a boiler refers to a device for moving heated water by generating steam or hot water over atmospheric pressure by heating water or a solvent by combustion gas, hot gas, or electricity. Boilers are divided into two types: steam boilers that generate steam and hot water boilers that supply hot water by heating the water. Here, the water used for heating the boiler naturally generates bubbles (air) inside the water as it is heated, but bubbles are not discharged to the outside of the water to escape naturally, but remain in the pipe used for the boiler, preventing the circulation of water and improving heating efficiency. Drop it. In addition, the air generated in the pipe may increase the pressure of the pipe to increase the load of the circulation motor, and water hammer may occur depending on the pressure change, resulting in a defect in the boiler or the pipe. Therefore, the most commonly used method to solve this problem is to install an air vent in the boiler distributor. Air vent is a device that assists the circulation of hot water by automatically discharging the air generated in the pipe, such as a boiler automatically, there are a variety of prior documents equipped with the air vent.
However, in the case of the air vent, since hot water is forcedly circulated by the circulation motor, there is a problem in that air is not collected into the air vent and air is continuously discharged by returning the pipe along the water.
In order to remove the air from the boiler pipe, do not install the air vent in the pipe, and separates the water and air from the expansion tank used to control the expansion pressure of the heating water circulating inside the boiler pipe and to replenish water It relates to a water / air separator of a boiler which is used as a substitute for a device.
In addition, the present invention is not limited to the above-described technical problems, and it is apparent that other technical problems may be derived from the following description.

According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, even if the air vent is not installed, by using the structure of the expansion tank as the water / air separator, there is no additional cost other than the pipe fitting cost for the pipe connection, thereby reducing the cost.
In addition, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, by completely cutting the boiler pipe in the middle so that the hot water discharged from the boiler is supplied through the expansion tank, there is an advantage that the air contained in the hot water can be completely removed.
In addition, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is an advantage that problems such as a reduction in heating efficiency or water hammer, etc., caused by air generation can be solved.
In addition, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, there is an advantage that the air is automatically removed even if the operation of removing the air of the heating pipe separately when installing or repairing the boiler.
In addition, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, when the air vent is used, it is necessary to replace or otherwise remove the air when a defect occurs in the air vent, but once by using the water / air separator according to the present disclosure The advantage is that it can be used semi-permanently.

For reference, in the drawings, each component is omitted or schematically illustrated for convenience and clarity, and the size of each component does not reflect the actual size. In addition, the same reference numerals throughout the specification refer to the same components and reference numerals for the same components in the individual drawings will be omitted.
1 shows a cross-sectional view of a boiler pipe equipped with a conventional air vent.
Air vents, which are devices that help the hot water circulate smoothly by automatically discharging air generated in a pipe such as a boiler, may be installed vertically between the pipe and the pipe or in the distributor. Therefore, the air generated while the water is heated to move with the water through the pipe is automatically discharged to the outside of the pipe through the air vent to increase the heating efficiency. However, since hot water is forced to circulate through the circulation motor, air is not naturally discharged through the air vent, and there is a disadvantage of preventing air from being discharged by continuously circulating the pipe.
2 shows a perspective view of a water / air separator of a boiler according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, and FIG. 3 shows an exploded cross-sectional view.
The water / air separator of the boiler according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is an expansion tank (10) used in conjunction with the boiler to adjust the expansion pressure of the heating water circulating inside the boiler pipe, and the expansion tank ( 10 is connected to one side of the
Here, the
In addition, in order to maintain a predetermined amount of water in the

According to a preferred feature of the present disclosure, the
In addition, according to a preferred feature of the present disclosure, the
In addition, according to a preferred feature of the present disclosure, the upper portion of the
FIG. 5 shows a detailed view of an expansion tank in which a third pipe and a float valve are combined in a water / air separator of a boiler according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
