Description
The present invention relates to a medical snare.
In general, colonoscopic polypectomy is a method of cutting polyps after inserting forceps or a special metal snare through a narrow hole in the endoscope.
Small polyps can be resected with forceps during the colon polypectomy, but relatively large polyps can be removed by holding a noose and applying electricity to prevent bleeding. At this time, if the polyp is large and widely attached to the large intestinal mucosa, saline is injected under the mucosa with a needle to reduce electrical damage to the large intestinal wall, and then resected with a noose.
On the other hand, the snare for polypectomy procedure is inserted with the endoscope to the site where the polyp to be removed, and then rotated in the direction in which the polyp is generated, to hold the polyp. To this end, in the case of the existing snare, a method of rotating the snare by rotating the entire snare device or using a separate dial connected to the noose was used.
However, when the entire snare device is rotated, there is a problem that it is difficult to rotate the snare in a desired direction due to the separation of the snare and the snare, and there is a problem in the wrist of the operator, and even in the case of rotating the dial, the noose and the noose are wrapped. Torque is applied to the noose at once by friction of the tube, which makes it difficult to precisely control the direction of the noose.
Therefore, there is a demand for research on medical snares capable of more precisely controlling the rotational direction of the snare.

On the other hand, the
When the
As a result, in order to precisely rotate the
In addition, the
As such, the medical snare 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention may reduce the friction between the
