Abstract

The present invention relates to a pig feed additive composition and, more specifically, to a functional feed additive composition which can treat and alleviate gastric ulcer in pig by including pineapple pomace and peppermint essential oil as active ingredients. When the pineapple pomace and the peppermint essential oil of the present invention is supplied as a feed additive, the body temperature of pigs raised in pigsty of the high temperature during summer is substantially reduced and the gastric ulcer in pig is effectively alleviated, thereby being usefully used as a functional feed additive composition. In particular, the pineapple pomace and the peppermint essential oil are natural and have long-term safety benefits.

Description

파인애플박 및 페퍼민트 에센셜 오일을 유효성분으로 포함하는 돼지의 위궤양 개선 또는 예방용 사료첨가제 조성물{Feed additive composition for improving or preventing pig's gastric ulcer comprising Pineapple pomace and eppermint essential oil}Feed additive composition for improving or preventing pig's gastric ulcer comprising Pineapple pomace and eppermint essential oil

The present invention relates to a pig feed additive composition, and more particularly, to a functional feed additive composition which can treat / improve gastric ulcers in pigs including pineapple foil and peppermint essential oil as active ingredients.

Ulcers are commonly found in the digestive tract of livestock. The most common sites for gastric ulcers in pigs are the pars esophagea and the gastric junction. Gastric ulcers can occur over any age, especially at 3-6 months of age. Clinical symptoms are manifested by blood loss due to ulcerative lesions. Slow blood loss can cause anemia, such as paleness, lethargy, weakness, increased respiratory rate, and loss of appetite. Stomach bleeding may be observed due to gastric bleeding. Some pigs may also have symptoms of abdominal pain, such as teething or back flexion, vomiting, and body temperature generally lower than normal. Pigs died of acute gastric ulcers have a very pale character due to rapid blood loss.

There are many factors (gender, genotype, season, fine grains, types of ingredients, feeding time, and emissary) of gastric ulcer, and it is reported that many cases of gastric ulcer occur especially in hot and humid summer due to high temperature stress. It is becoming. The distribution of sweat glands in pigs is limited to the nose and anus, making it difficult to control the body temperature against high temperatures. As the average temperature rises due to global warming, the damage of high temperature stress on the pig industry is increasing.

The gastric ulcer is a significant lesion that causes mortality in growing piglets and sows, causing growth delays, and thus economic losses during mortality. Thus, a decrease in the farming capacity of summer farmers directly leads to a loss of profits of farmers.

Therefore, the present inventors have studied to find a feed additive material that can reduce or improve the occurrence of gastric ulcers caused by high-temperature stress in summer, when the pineapple gourd and peppermint essential oil is supplied as a feed additive, the body temperature of the pigs actually raised in pigs The present invention was completed by confirming that it can effectively reduce and improve gastric ulcer in pigs.

As a result, as shown in the following [Table 3], the stomach ulcer disease of the pig was found to be severe at the high temperature stage, pineapple foil and peppermint essential oil was added to the basic feed compared to the treatment group T2 fed the basic feed at the high temperature stage It was confirmed that the gastric ulcer is effectively improved in the treatment group T3. In addition, as a result of measuring the body temperature of the pigs by treatment, it was confirmed that the body temperature reduction effect appeared in the T3 treatment.
