Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a bus bar assembly, and more particularly, to a bus bar assembly having various functions incorporated therein at high voltage.
In an electric vehicle, a high voltage is used for driving the driving source. Therefore, a bus bar assembly is used for electrical connection between the battery supplying the high voltage and the load. The bus bar assembly has a bus bar having a predetermined thickness and width for use at a high voltage, and an insulating layer surrounding the outer surface of the bus bar is formed.
The environment in which such a bus bar assembly is used has a problem of high temperature due to heat generation due to high voltage and water generation thereby. Particularly, as the fuel cell system and the like are integrated, there arises a problem of affecting a specific part among the parts where heat and moisture are concentrated in parts. For example, such heat and moisture can cause problems with components that are vulnerable to heat and moisture, such as printed circuit boards used in systems.
Therefore, there is a need for a function that can block the influence of heat and moisture on the parts used in automobiles, such as the fuel cell system, especially the adjacent parts of the bus bar assembly.
In general, the bus bar assembly is connected directly to the load side, for example, there is no direct connection between the power source and the load, and there are additional components on the load side. That is, for example, a bus bar assembly is connected to a terminal block for connection to a motor of a load-side electric vehicle, and power is supplied to the load side through the terminal block. Therefore, there is a problem that the number of parts for electrical connection from the power source to the load increases.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to meet the above-mentioned conventional necessity and to allow a bus bar assembly to block transmission of heat, moisture, etc. between peripheral components.
