Description

Canvas Frame {CANVAS FRAME}

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a canvas frame, and more particularly to a structure improvement of a canvas frame used for fixing an art canvas and the like.

Canvas is a flat textile used to make sturdy sails, tents, backpacks, or oil paintings on paintings. It comes from the cannabis, which means "hemp" in Latin. The canvas is a canvas Is also called art canvas or canvas.

Normally the canvas draws paintings on paintings of Western paintings and oil paintings, which are combined with a canvas frame, which is a square frame.

Conventionally, in fixing the canvas to the canvas frame, the outer edge of the canvas is fixed by being pulled to a canvas frame mainly made of wood. The canvas is fixed so that the canvas paper is held in a tightly pulled state, And an iron core and a pushpin are used.

Therefore, although the canvas frame for fixing the canvas is generally made of wood, the canvas frame made of wood is a main cause of picture damage such as discoloration and contamination of the picture.

The reason for this is that the moisture content of the wood varies depending on the humidity in the atmosphere due to the nature of the material, and thus the moisture contained in the wood is discharged to the outside according to the influence of the external environment. Because. Particularly, the damage of the picture tends to be further intensified due to the moisture discharged from the above-mentioned wood in the close contact portion of the canvas and the canvas frame.

On the other hand, conventional canvas frames made of wood have drawbacks that it is difficult to maintain the shape of the canvas frame due to the change of the external environment such as temperature and humidity.

Therefore, in order to solve the problems of the canvas frame made of wood, a coating layer such as varnish for preventing penetration of moisture or the like on the surface is formed by chemical treatment or the like to improve the problem. However, There was also a problem that the effect decreased.

On the other hand, the conventional canvas frame made of wood has a lot of processes such as sorting, drying, and surface treatment of wood in the manufacturing process due to the characteristics of the wood, and the production depends largely on manual production, There was also a problem such as increasing.

In recent years, a canvas frame made of a metal material has been proposed to solve the problem of a canvas frame made of a wood. In the patent registration No. 1226698, a second frame made of wood is attached to the rear surface of a first frame made of a metal material having a hollow, A first frame of a metal material and a second frame for fixing a canvas paper are combined using a bolt or the like.

In the canvas frame of the metal material disclosed in the patent registration No. 1226698, the picture drawn on the canvas does not touch the second frame, which is the wooden part, so that damage to the picture due to the moisture discharged from the wood can be prevented.

However, the canvas frame of the metal material disclosed in the patent registration No. 1226698 has various problems due to its structural characteristics, and has a disadvantage that the manufacturing process is complicated and the manufacturing time and manufacturing cost of the canvas frame are increased.

Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1226698 (Jan. 21, 2013)

In the above-described configuration, the main frame is composed of upper, lower, left, and right frames, and the upper, lower, left, and right frames are cut at both ends by 45 degrees. On the cut surface, There is provided a corner hitch insertion groove into which an 'L' shaped corner hitch is inserted to allow the corner hitch to extend from the side of the corner where they meet.

In the above-described configuration, a flange is provided at an entrance of the corner hitch insertion groove so as to prevent the corner hitch from being directly forward or rearward of the main frame.

In the above-described configuration, a screw fastening hole for fastening a tongue screw is formed on the corner connecting tongue, and a length of the tongue screw fastened to the screw fastening hole is formed such that the upper end surface thereof does not protrude outside the flange do.

On the other hand, in the above-described configuration, the upper, lower, left, and right frames are further provided with a wooden joining groove into which the canvas fixing wood is inserted and coupled.

In the above-described construction, projections for improving the coupling force with wood are provided on the left and right inner surfaces of the wooden joint groove.

In the above-described structure, the cross-shaped fixing bracket is a structure comprising a bottom surface of a cruciform shape and a side wall surface projecting in a direction orthogonal to the bottom edge of the cruciform, wherein the reinforcing frame member crossing the left and right sides of the main frame, And a cross-shaped groove for aligning the reinforcing frame member that crosses the upper and lower sides.

Meanwhile, in the above-described configuration, the reinforcing frame and the cruciform fixing bracket may be made of a metal material, for example, made of aluminum to reduce weight.

Meanwhile, the reinforcing frame and the cruciform fixing bracket may be made of a high-strength plastic material, for example, a high-strength engineering plastic material.

Effects of the canvas frame of the present invention are as follows.

The canvas frame according to the present invention can eliminate a drawback and a shape deformation which are disadvantages of a canvas frame made of a conventional wood by fabricating a base frame made of a material having rigidity and no shape deformation due to moisture or humidity change.

In the canvas frame according to the present invention, when the main frame and the reinforcing frame are made of aluminum, it is possible to provide a canvas frame which is robust and light.

In the canvas frame according to the present invention, the main frame and the reinforcing frame are made of a lightweight material such as an aluminum material, and are basically lightweight. The cross-shaped fixing bracket supporting the intersection of the reinforcing frame is made of steel, Inexpensive and durable steel can be applied to improve bearing capacity and cost reduction

For example, in the embodiment of the present invention, the main frame 1 and the reinforcing frame 2 are made of aluminum, and the cruciform fixing bracket 3 is made of steel. However, the present invention is not limited thereto.

That is, although aluminum can be applied for securing rigidity and weight as in the above embodiment, metal other than aluminum or steel is necessarily applied to the main frame 1, the reinforcing frame 2, and the cruciform fixing bracket 3 Of course it is possible.

Also, unlike the above embodiment, at least one of the main frame 1, the reinforcing frame 2, and the cruciform fixing bracket 3 constituting the canvas frame may be made of high-strength plastic. That is, the main frame 1, the reinforcing frame 2 and the cruciform fixing bracket 3 can be replaced by high-strength engineering plastics, not metal, thereby improving strength and quality while preventing corrosion, The cost is reduced, and each part is standardized and injection molded, thereby further mass production and thus manufacturing cost reduction can be achieved.

Meanwhile, the coupling structure of the wooden joining groove 120 and the canvas fixing wood 5 provided by the above embodiment exhibits sufficient bonding force even without nailing or screwing.

The joining structure between the wood joining recess 120 and the canvas securing wood 5 provided by the above embodiment exhibits a sufficient joining strength between the parts. However, the joining of the wooden joining recesses 120 120 may be provided with a concave / convex portion corresponding to the protrusion 120a of the protrusions 120a, 120a.

In the above-described embodiment, the reinforcement frame 2 is formed as a hollow pipe having a hollow hollow structure. However, the reinforcement frame 2 may not necessarily have a hollow structure.

In this embodiment, the spacer 130 is formed in a protruding shape so that the canvas C is not in close contact with the front surface of each frame at the edges of the upper, lower, left, and right frames 10a, 10b, 10c, However, the spacer 130 may be detachably attached to the front surface of the frame by a separate member rather than an integral member.

7 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a structure of a main frame according to another embodiment of the present invention, in which the corner hinge insert grooves 110a and 110b into which an 'L' -shaped corner hinge 4 is inserted, Unlike the example, it may be structured to be located at positions facing each other.

Therefore, the above-described embodiments are to be considered as illustrative rather than restrictive, and the present invention is not limited to the above description, but may be modified within the scope of the appended claims and equivalents thereof.
