항공기가 강, 호수, 바다에 추락할 경우 침수감지기에 의해 침수를 감지하고, 비행기록장치(FDR)의 전원을 차단하여, FDR에 기 저장된 항공기 사고기록 및 주요 비행기록 삭제방지를 하는 것으로, 상기 침수감지기에는 BIT(Built in Test) 스위치(10)와 BIT indicator인 BIT LED(20)로 구성되는 BIT 수단(100)이 내장되어 침수감지기가 정상적으로 작동되는지를 알 수 있는 BIT 수단이 설치되는 항공기용 침수감지기에 있어서,
상기 항공기에서 생성되는 28V 전원은 조종실 좌측 회로차단기 패널의 DC-DIRECT BATTERY BUS1을 경유하여 충격(Inertia SW)감지 스위치와 침수감지제어장치(Electrical Immersion Bos)로 공급되고 제어장치 동작을 위한 별도 전원도 공급되며, 상기 침수감지기 (Immersion Probe)는 항공기가 강이나 바닥에 추락하였을 때 FDR(비행기록장치)의 전원을 차단하여, FDR에 저장된 항공기사고 기록 및 비행기록의 삭제를 방지하는 역할이며,
침수감지기는 히팅센서와 주변온도 감지센서의 두 개로서, 침수감지기의 센서인 히팅센서와 주변온도 감지센서는 각각 RTD(RTD : Resistance Temperature detector)센서로 만들어지며,
상기 히팅센서는 항상 전류를 공급하여 히팅을 하며 일정 온도 이상으로 가열하며, 주변온도 감지센서는 히팅을 하지 않고 주변온도를 감지하는 것이며,
항공기 조건에서는 주변온도와 상관없이 침수를 감지할 수 있어야 하므로 주변온도와 상관없이 동작하기 위해서는 히팅센서와 주변온도 감지센서에 온도차가 있도록 구성되며,
침수가 되면 상기 히팅센서는 온도가 저하되므로, 히팅센서와 주변온도 감지센서간의 온도차가 설정치 이하가 되면 침수가 발생한 것으로 제어부에서 판단하여, 비행기록장치(FDR)의 전원을 차단하여, FDR에 기 저장된 항공기 사고기록 및 주요 비행기록 삭제방지를 하게 되는 것으로,
상기 히팅센서에 전류를 공급하여 각 센서의 저항값은 전류를 흘려 전압으로 바뀌되 이때의 전압을 opamp 및 비교기에서 비교하여 침수의 여부를 판단하는 것으로,
12V전원회로와 3V전원회로는 침수감지회로의 전원공급을 담당하며,
침수감지회로의 출력은 정상상태에서는 항상 내부의 릴레이가 Inertia 입력이 FDR 출력으로 연결되며, 침수감지시에는 차단되는 것이며, 침수감지기에 형성된 두 개의 구멍(hole) 중 헬기가 침수되면 A 구멍(hole)으로 물이 유입되며, B 구멍(hole)의 역할은 내부의 공기(AIR)를 빼는 역할인 것으로,
상기 BIT 수단(100)은 각 op amp의 아날로그회로의 전압값은 비교기를 통하여 판단되며, 이때의 모든 값을 Logic회로 AND로 구성하여 모든 값이 정상일 경우에는 BIT 스위치(10) 동작시 BIT indicator인 BIT LED(20)가 점등되어 있으며, 비정상일 경우에는 BIT indicator인 BIT LED(20)가 미점등되는 것을 특징으로 하는 BIT 수단이 설치되는 항공기용 침수감지기
