Abstract
The case for the electronic apparatus having the supporting means may include a protective cover, a protective frame and a supporting means. An opening for receiving the holding means is formed on the rear surface of the protective frame. The support means pivots against the protective cover and the protective frame. The holding means is configured to rotate at a predetermined angle until the rotation is stopped by the turning end wall of the protective frame. The opening has a size to accommodate the support means. The support means can be rotated from a closed position in which the support means is received in the opening to an open position rotated at a predetermined angle. In the open position, the electronic device can be placed at an angle appropriate for viewing with respect to the surface.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention [0001] The present invention relates to a case for an electronic device having a supporting means, and more particularly to a smartphone case having a supporting means for supporting the case. The support means is rotatable from the protective case and the protective frame of the case.
Portable electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart phones, and tablet computers are widely used. The user uses his or her fingers to hold these devices by hand or use various functions of the device. However, when using the device, the user may drop the device and damage the device. In addition, when the electronic device is used for a long time, it may adversely affect the body such as the hand, arm, and the like in a posture holding the electronic device.
The user of the portable electronic device uses the case to protect the device, and the manufacturer produces various types of cases for the protection of the portable device. However, these cases do not allow the user to support the portable device at an appropriate angle without holding the portable device directly. Or, even if such a function is provided, there is a problem that the structure is complicated or uncomfortable.
An embodiment of the present invention is a case for an electronic device such as a cellular phone, a smart phone or a tablet computer, and a case provided with a supporting means. More specifically, the support means may be configured to be rotatable not only from the protective frame provided in the case, but also from the protective case provided in the case.
According to an aspect of the present invention, a case may include a protective cover, a protective frame, and a supporting means. The rear surface portion of the protective frame may be provided with an opening capable of receiving the supporting means. The support means may be configured to be rotatable with respect to the protective cover and the protective frame. The support means may be configured to rotate within a predetermined angular range until the rotation is stopped by the pivoting end wall of the protective frame.
Further, the case according to another embodiment may have an opening having a size enough to accommodate the supporting means. The support means may be configured to be rotatable from a closed position received in the opening to an open position in which the support means is rotated at a predetermined angle. When the support means is in the open position, the electronic device may be erected at an appropriate angle (e.g., an angle suitable for viewing the electronic device screen) from the surface on which the electronic device is placed.
According to the above-described object of the present invention, the structure of the supporting means for supporting and raising the case is simple and the appearance is good; The support means can be used easily and conveniently; The durability of the supporting means can be improved by making the supporting means pivotable with respect to the protective case as well as the protective frame; When the mobile phone is accommodated in the case, the supporting means can be safely rotated and the closing and opening of the supporting means is convenient; The protective cover, the protective frame and the support means can be very easily engaged and the support means can be easily replaced; The surface of the support means is located on the same plane as the surface of the protective frame, so that the appearance and finishing are good; There is an advantage that the supporting means can be opened conveniently by using the nail and the operation is simple.
