Abstract
The present invention provides a tray and a card connector having the tray. A tray according to an embodiment of the present invention is a tray on which at least one card is mounted. The tray includes a frame portion forming an opening, a protruding portion protruding from the inside of the frame portion, and a first seating surface for seating the first card And a first seating part protruding from the inside of the frame part. The first seat is spaced apart from the projection below the projection and is fitted and fixed between the first seat and the projection in a first position in which the first card is seated on the first seat The first seat portion extends transversely toward the protrusion so as to be slidable on the first seating portion to the second position.
Description
The present invention relates to a tray on which a card is mounted and a card connector having such a tray.
A card connector mounted on a mobile device such as a smart phone is usually used to connect a SIM (Subscriber Identification Module) card containing subscriber identification information or various memory cards for data storage to a mobile device.
A SIM card or a memory card is inserted into the card connector. In recent years, a card connector having a compact size in accordance with the miniaturization trend of mobile devices and having a structure in which a plurality of cards can be inserted at one time, . For example, Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 2015-109182 proposes an example of such a card connector. The card connector proposed by the above document comprises a card socket mounted on a mobile device and a tray on which two cards are inserted and mounted in opposite directions (i.e., up and down directions) so as to face each other, and the tray is inserted into the card socket. In such a card connector, since the card located at the bottom of the tray among the two cards can be arbitrarily separated from the tray, there is a danger of losing the card and it is inconvenient to insert the tray into the card socket. For example, Korean Patent Laid-Open No. 10-2015-0022775 proposes another example of a card connector. The card connector proposed by the above document includes a card socket mounted on a mobile device and a tray inserted and mounted in one direction so that two cards are stacked. However, in some cases, two cards may be inserted into a tray, and only one card may be inserted. In such a case, it is difficult to mount only one card on the tray of the card connector. When only the card of the two cards that is inserted first into the tray is mounted on the tray, when the tray is inserted into the card socket, the card is pushed upward by the terminal in contact with the card socket, can not do it.
The present invention provides a tray which can be inserted and mounted in one direction so that a plurality of cards are stacked, and which can stably connect a mounted card to a card socket even if only one of the plurality of cards is mounted.
The present invention also provides a card connector including a card socket into which a tray is inserted for connection between such a tray and a card mounted on a tray.
One aspect of the present invention provides a tray on which at least one card is mounted. The tray according to the exemplary embodiment has a frame portion forming an opening, a protruding portion protruding from the inside of the frame portion, and a first seating surface for seating the first card, wherein the first seating surface protruding from the inside of the frame portion And a seat portion.
