Description
The present invention relates to a door impact beam fixing structure for a vehicle and a door impact beam fixing method using the same. The fixing mechanism is interposed between the door panel and the impact beam to support the impact beam.
The impact beam of the vehicle door is mounted on the inner panel to support the lateral impact. And both ends thereof are welded to the inner panel using a bracket.
The interval between the ends of the impact beam is separated from the inner panel, which causes vibration or noise during driving. A mastic sealer is applied between the inner panel and the inner panel in the middle of the longitudinal direction of the impact beam.
Mastic seals are used in filling hoods, trunk lids, doors, loops, and other spaces between the outer and inner plates of the vehicle, and for bonding the members and preventing vibration. Usually, it is cured by application, filling and heating.
During the vehicle manufacturing process, the door is supplied to the assembly plant in the state that the reinforce members such as inner, outer panel, and impact beam are assembled. At this time, a mastic sealer is pre-filled between the impact beam and the door panel, and is hardened at the assembling factory in the course of coating and the like.
Although the mastic sealer has a viscosity as an adhesive, when the door assembly is moved to the assembly plant and the carrier vehicle does not adequately cope with the speed bump or other obstacle, the sealer is detached from the panel or the beam I noticed that there was a problem that Sealer did not play a role.
In recent years, the demand for quietness from vehicle manufacturers and consumers has been increasing. The present invention is based on the recognition of this problem, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a door impact beam fixing mechanism for preventing a mastic sealer from being detached from a panel or an impact beam.
