Abstract
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Description
The present invention relates to a digital signage device, and more particularly, to a digital signage device that provides digital media information using a smart window.
Typically, advertising refers to a series of activities aimed at informing potential consumers about products and services and how to purchase them. Advertising media, billboards, newspapers, radio, and television were mainly used as advertising media. Recently, new technologies such as digital signage are emerging due to rapid development of technology.
Digital signage is a combination of various IT technologies such as hardware, software, contents, and network. It is a digital information that can output various types of information such as still images, video, and advertisement data (hereinafter referred to as "digital media information" Means a display (Digital Information Display: DID).
This digital signage is installed in a place where people such as elevator, movie theater, restaurant, shopping mall, and shop stay at a certain place for a large number of large buildings and businesses where the current population is large, such as terminals, government offices, bus stops, department stores, And the demand for digital signage is also steadily increasing.
The initial form of digital signage consists of a signboard or a billboard as a digital information display such as a plasma display panel (PDP), a liquid crystal display (LCD), and a light emitting diode (LED) . In recent years, a network-type digital signage has been attracting attention, in which an advertisement providing apparatus transmits digital media information through a communication network and the digital signage receiving the digital media information outputs the received digital media information.
However, digital signage requires a separate exhibition space for installing digital information displays such as a plasma display panel (PDP), a liquid crystal display (LCD), and a light emitting diode (LED).
Also, since the digital media information output to the digital information display is limited to the size of the screen of the digital information display, there is a restriction on the size of the digital media information that can be output through the digital information display. Of course, digital information displays with a large screen size can be used, but as the size of the digital information display increases, the installation cost of the digital signage increases.
In addition, the digital information display is installed in the exhibition space in the form of a stand or a wall, and since it focuses on providing information and advertisement data rather than harmony with the exhibition space, there may arise a problem that it is not in harmony with the exhibition space.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a digital signage apparatus using a smart window capable of minimizing installation space occupied by a digital information display.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a digital signage apparatus using a smart window capable of minimizing a problem of size restriction of digital media information due to limitation of a screen size of a digital information display.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a digital signage apparatus using a smart window capable of providing digital media information in harmony with an exhibition space.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a digital signage apparatus using a smart window that provides digital media information suitable for a user through object recognition.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a digital signage apparatus using a smart window which is used as a screen for outputting digital media information while displaying exhibits in a window.

The control unit adjusts the projection angle of the image projection unit so that the digital media information is projected according to the determined eye level of the customer.
