Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing a salmon nucleic acid film and a drug injection device using the salmon nucleic acid film. More particularly, the present invention relates to a drug delivery device using a salmon nucleic acid film in transdermal delivery technology, And a drug infusion device using the salmon nucleic acid film. The present invention also relates to a drug injection device using the salmon nucleic acid film.
In general, most drugs are administered orally. However, some drugs, particularly protein and peptide drugs, can not be effectively adsorbed in this manner due to severe degradation in the gastrointestinal tract, poor absorption in the intestinal membranes, and / or interruption of first pass by the liver.
Other drug delivery techniques are parenteral injection using standard syringes or catheters. Syringe injection causes needle phobia, substantial pain, and local damage to the skin in many patients. Recovery of body fluids such as blood for diagnostic purposes causes similar anxiety. In addition, needle injection is not ideal for continuous delivery of the drug, or for continuous diagnosis.
Another drug delivery technique is transdermal delivery, which is usually dependent on the diffusion of the drug across the skin. This method is not widely applied due to the insufficient skin permeability of many drugs. The outermost layer of the skin, the stratum corneum, represents the main barrier against transdermal drug penetration. Once the drug reaches the dermis depth (below the epidermis), the drug rapidly spreads through the blood circulation into the deep tissue layer and other parts of the body.
In an attempt to improve protein drug delivery rate through the skin, chemical enhancers, iontophoresis, electroporation, ultrasound, and thermal elements have been used to supplement drug delivery. However, these techniques are not suitable for some drug forms and often do not provide a therapeutic level of delivery. These techniques sometimes cause unwanted skin reactions and are impractical for the control of drug delivery in delivering the drug over a period of hours or days.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is an object of the present invention to solve the problems of the prior art by applying a salmon nucleic acid film in a transdermal delivery technique which depends on drug diffusion across the skin to prevent skin troubles and improve skin penetration of drugs A method for producing a salmon nucleic acid film, and a drug injection device using a salmon nucleic acid film.
