길이를 갖는 판형상을 이루며, 등을 대고 누울 수 있는 장소를 마련하는 수면대;
한쌍의 반타원부들을 갖고 엉덩이와 대면하는 상기 수면대의 단부에 설치되며, 상기 반타원부들이 좌우 엉덩이를 각각 탄력적으로 받쳐 상기 수면대에 누운 엉덩이의 꼬리뼈 부위에 가해지는 압박을 분산시키는 엉덩이 받침부;
상기 엉덩이 받침부의 상부 반타원부들의 사이에 융기되어 돌출되며, 상기 반타원부들 위에 적치된 엉치뼈 부위를 받쳐 수축된 척추를 이완시키는 엉치뼈 받침부; 및
상기 엉덩이 받침부의 반타원부들의 사이에 형성되며, 상기 반타원부들 위에 적치된 엉덩이의 꼬리뼈 부위를 감싸 지지하여 수축된 척추를 이완시키는 홈부를 포함하며,
상기 수면대의 좌우 길이변에는 상기 엉덩이 받침부로부터 연장되어 상기 수면대에 누운 몸통을 끼워 고정함으로써 옆으로 눕지 못하도록 방지하는 돌기들이 각각 돌출 형성되고,
상기 돌기들은 선단으로부터 엉덩이 받침부를 향해 갈수록 폭이 넓고 유선형을 이루고,
상기 엉덩이 받침부의 반타원부는 허리로부터 엉덩이가 시작되는 꼬리뼈 주위의 엉덩이 부위를 받쳐 꼬리뼈 부위에 가해지는 압박을 분산시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 수면보조장치.
