Description

Baffle for Fuel Tank < RTI ID = 0.0 >

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a baffle, and more particularly, to a baffle for a fuel tank in which the length of the baffle is shortened before being assembled by superimposing the baffle in the longitudinal direction.

Generally, fuel tanks are subject to smooth fuel supply due to generation of swirling or sudden braking which causes the size of the vehicle's inertia force to become large, or fuel leaking or swaying due to internal inertia during rapid acceleration.

Therefore, in the internal space of the fuel tank, a baffle which necessarily divides the internal space into a plurality of spaces and prevents one side of the oil surface from being caused by the inertia force of the fuel is necessarily applied.

By applying such a baffle, it is possible to prevent one side of the oil surface from leaning or leaning which contributes to maintenance of the fuel supply performance of the fuel tank even when the vehicle is turning, sudden braking or rapid acceleration. In addition, by applying a baffle, the noise due to oil level swelling in the fuel tank can be reduced.

However, since the baffle is installed in the inner space of the fuel tank after the fuel tank is manufactured, the size of the baffle can not be limited to the size and the length that can be easily assembled in the inner space of the fuel tank. Particularly, since the thin fuel tank must not come into contact with the bottom surface of the fuel tank when the baffle is assembled, the total length of the baffle is inevitably limited.

In view of the above, the present invention can be applied to both the left and right ends of a baffle having a plurality of connectors, and can be easily applied to a narrow internal space of a fuel tank, It is an object of the present invention to provide a baffle for a fuel tank which can have a long length suitable for its length.

In order to achieve the above object, the baffle for a fuel tank of the present invention comprises a left fixing part constituting one side portion and a right side fixing portion constituting a portion opposite to the left side fixing portion connected to the connecting portion. The connection portion of the left fixing portion and the connection portion is a left- A baffle plate having a connecting section between the connecting section and the right fixing section connected to the right folding section and having both left and right portions of the right folding section having a thickness smaller than the thickness of the connecting section and the right fixing section; A baffle connector provided on each of the left fixing part and the right fixing part; Is included.

The left folded portion connects the left fixing portion and one side of the connecting portion in an inclined manner and the right folded portion extends obliquely to the other side portion of the right fixing portion and the connecting portion.

The two-step thickness section changing portion of the right folded portion is folded, and the connecting portion and the right fixing portion are overlapped with the right folded portion to form an overlapping length. After the overlap length is formed, the connection portion is superimposed on the left fixing portion by deformation of the left folded portion, so that the total length of the baffle plate is shortened to the shortened total length.

At least one transverse bead is formed in the transverse direction of the baffle plate, at least one longitudinal bead is formed in the transverse direction, and a plurality of through holes are drilled through the thickness of the baffle plate. The lateral bead is not formed in the two-step thickness section of the right folded portion. The longitudinal bead is formed as a portion to which the baffle connector is coupled.

At least one more rigid rib is formed on the left folded portion, and the rigid rib extends from an end portion of the left fixing portion to a starting portion of the connection portion.

The baffle connector includes first and second baffle connectors respectively coupled to insertion holes of a holder positioner spaced apart from a left fixing part of the baffle plate and insertion holes of a holder positioner formed at a distance from the right fixing part of the baffle plate And a third and a third baffle connector coupled thereto.

The baffle connector is composed of a holder which is inserted into the insertion hole of the holder positioner and a holder clip which is coupled around the rim of the insertion hole. At least one inclined inner leg protrudes into the inner space of the insertion hole, and the insertion hole penetrates through the holder clip.

Each of the left fixing part and the right fixing part of the baffle plate is further provided with a baffle clip. The baffle clip is an elastic clip that forms a clamping force.

In order to achieve the above object, the fuel tank of the present invention is characterized in that the baffle folded to reduce the overall length divides the internal space into at least one section, and the baffle is fastened from the outside of the fuel tank to the internal space And is fixed with a plurality of fixers.

The present invention is embodied in a fuel tank which is made of a flexible material which is folded or folded by applying a force, and is inserted into an internal space of a fuel tank. After the insertion, the baffle is unfolded to its original length, And the long length is suitable for the overall length and width of the vehicle.

In addition, the present invention has the effect of being assembled in a fuel tank in a reduced size by superposing a baffle, so that it can be easily assembled in a thin fuel tank without interference or damage with a fuel tank.

In addition, the present invention is applicable to a fuel tank in which a baffle having a long length suitable for a full length or width of a fuel tank is applied to a fuel tank, thereby improving the fuel supply performance of the fuel tank, The improvement of the noise of the fuel tank due to the oil sagging is further improved.

Fig. FIG. 4 is a state in which the baffle according to the present invention is folded to reduce the overall length, and FIG. 5 is a view showing the baffle according to the present invention, Respectively.

Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings, which illustrate exemplary embodiments of the present invention. The present invention is not limited to these embodiments.

1 shows a configuration of a baffle for a fuel tank according to this embodiment.

As shown, the baffle includes a baffle plate 10 divided into a plurality of sections that are folded to shorten the overall length, a plurality of baffle plates 10, which are provided on the baffle plate 10 to fix the installation position of the baffle plate 10 20-2, 20-3, 20-4, and at least one baffle clip 50-1, 50-2 coupled with the baffle plate 10, respectively.

The baffle plate 10 is divided into left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2, a connecting portion 10-3 and left and right folded portions 10-4 and 10-5, The connecting portion 10-3 protrudes further forward than the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2 and the left folded portion 10-4 protrudes forward from the one side of the connecting portion 10-3 And the right folded portion 10-5 connects the other of the connection portion 10-3 and the right fixed portion 10-5 in an inclined manner.

Therefore, the unfolded state of the baffle plate 10 forms a cross-sectional shape of the cap having the connecting portion 10-3 as its upper portion.

Particularly, the connection section of the left fixed section 10-1 and the left folded section 10-4, the connection section of the left folded section 10-4 and the connection section 10-3, the connection section of the connection section 10-3, The connection section of the folded section 10-5 and the connection section of the right folded section 10-5 and the right fixed section 10-2. Therefore, the baffle plate 10 can be made of a plastic material equivalent to a plastic material capable of deforming with a force larger than a force due to fluid lean while maintaining a rigid rigidity.

To this end, the connection section between the connection section 10-3 and the right folded section 10-5, and the connection section between the right folded section 10-5 and the right fixing section 10-2, do. For example, when the thickness of the connecting portion 10-3, the right folded portion 10-5 and the right fixing portion 10-2 is t1, the middle portion of the connecting portion is t3, Both sides are made of t2. At this time, the thicknesses of t1, t2, and t3 become thicker in order of t1> t2> t3.

Therefore, when the baffle plate 10 is folded and folded, the thinnest thickness t3 of the two-step change areas of the right folded portion 10-5 is easily deformed by the force applied to the right fixing portion 10-2. And can be superimposed on the connection portion 10-3.

On the other hand, the left folded portion 10-4, which is deformed to overlap the connection portion 10-3 on the left fixing portion 10-1, has a thickness equal to the thickness of the other portion so that relatively more force is required, Less. However, the left and right connection sections of the left folded section 10-4 may have the same effect as the left and right connection sections of the right folded section 10-5 by giving a change in cross section.

The plurality of baffle connectors 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, and 20-4 include first, second, third, and fourth baffle connectors 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, Each of the first, second, third, and fourth baffle connectors 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, and 20-4 includes a holder 30 and a holder clip 40 having the same shape and structure, .

Therefore, the holder clip 40 is coupled to the left fixing part 10-1 and the right fixing part 10-2 of the baffle plate 10, respectively, and the holder 30 is fixed to the holder clip 40 (See FIG. 5) fastened to the fuel tank (or oil tank), and the installation position of the baffle plate 10 is fixed.

The at least one baffle clip (50-1, 50-2) comprises first and second baffle clips (50-1, 50-2). The first baffle clip 50-1 is coupled to be positioned between the first and second baffle connectors 20-1 and 20-2 at the left fixing part 10-1 of the baffle plate 10, The two baffle clips 50-2 are coupled to be positioned between the third and fourth baffle connectors 20-3 and 20-4 at the right fixing portion 10-2 of the baffle plate 10. [

2 shows a detailed configuration of the baffle plate 10. As shown in Fig.

As shown, the baffle plate 10 includes a left fixing part 10-1, a left folded part 10-4, a connecting part 10-3, a right folded part 10-5, 10-2) in this order. Therefore, when the baffle plate 10 has a fully extended electric length (left fixing portion 10-1 - left folded portion 10-4 - connecting portion 10-3 - right folded portion 10-5) (Or the fixed section 10-2) is designed in accordance with the width of the fuel tank (or the oil tank) in which the baffle is assembled (or the overall length of the fuel tank).

At least one lateral bead 11 is formed on the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2, the connecting portion 10-3 and the left and right folded portions 10-4 and 10-5. And at least one longitudinal bead 12 is formed in each of the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2 to enhance the durability of the baffle plate 10. [ Particularly, at least one rigid rib 13 is further formed in the connection section between the left fixing part 10-1 and the left folded part 10-4, thereby enhancing the durability against the folding of the connection section.

At least one through hole 14 is formed in the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2, the connecting portion 10-3, and the left and right folded portions 10-4 and 10-5, So that the fluid in the space defined by the baffle plate 10 can be mixed with each other.

Two holder positioners 15 are formed in each of the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2 of the baffle plate 10 and the holder positioner 15 The holder 30 is inserted into the insertion hole 15a and the holder clip 40 is fastened to the edge of the insertion hole 15a. Therefore, the durability of the holder positioner 15 is enhanced by concentrating the vertical beads 12 in the holder positioner 15.

The baffle plate 10 is formed with a clip positioner 17 between two holder positioners 15 formed on the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2, The baffle clips 50-1 and 50-2 can be detachably fixed and separated from each other.

3 shows the details of the first, second, third, and fourth baffle connectors 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, and 20-4, the first and second baffle clips 50-1 and 50-2, Respectively.

As shown in the figure, the first, second, third, and fourth baffle connectors 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, and 20-4 include a holder 30 having the same shape and structure, And a clip 40.

The holder 30 includes an inlet body 31 and a hook body 32 which are stepped on each other and an insertion hole 33 is passed through the inlet body 31 and the hook body 32, A plurality of inside legs 35a, 35b, 35c and 35d are formed inside the insertion hole 33 to narrow the inside diameter of the insertion hole 33. [

The inlet body 31, the hook body 32, and the insertion hole 33 are formed in a square polygonal shape.

The inside legs 35a, 35b, 35c and 35d are made up of first, second, third and fourth inside legs 35a, 35b, 35c and 35d, and the first inside leg 35a and the third inside leg 35c And the second inside leg 35b and the fourth inside leg 35d are opposed to each other at regular intervals.

In particular, the inner legs 35a, 35b, 35c, and 35d extend downward from the inlet body 31 toward the lower side of the hook body 32 so that a fixer 200 (see FIG. 5) (33) so that the fixing force can be strengthened.

The holder 30 is further provided with a pair of outer side jaws 37 protruding from the outer circumferential surface of the hook body 32. The outer side jaw 37 is fixed to the holder positioner 15 of the baffle plate 10, The holder 30 is engaged with the holder positioner 15 formed in the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2 of the baffle plate 10, 15) so as to maintain a fixed state.

The holder clip 40 is formed in a square shape having an insertion hole 41 and is formed at a position where the first and second fins 43a and 43b are opposed to each other around the insertion hole 41. [ Therefore, the holder clip 40 can be fixed using the rim of the holder positioner 15 formed on the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2 of the baffle plate 10, respectively.

The first and second baffle clips 50-1 and 50-2 have the same shape and structure. For example, each of the first and second baffle clips 50-1 and 50-2 may be formed of an elastic body having an inner space formed with an opening opened to one side, and both left and right sides of the opened mouth of the elastic body The side pressing portion 51 is formed as a portion of the elastic body, and the upper surface pressing portion 53 is formed at a closed position opposite to the opening of the elastic body.

Therefore, when the first and second baffle clips 50-1 and 50-2 are respectively fitted to the clip positioner 17 formed on the left and right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2 of the baffle plate 10 The upper surface pressing portion 53 is brought into close contact with the top of the diamond shape of the clip positioner 17 and the side pressing portion 51 is brought into close contact with both sides of the diamond shape of the clip positioner 17 to maintain the fixing force.

On the other hand, Fig. 4 shows the shape of the compressed state baffle 1-1 in which the overall length of the baffle 1-1 according to the present embodiment is reduced.

As shown in the figure, if the force F is applied in a state having the total length (La-1) corresponding to the width (or overall length) of the fuel tank (or oil tank) The baffle 1 is deformed into the compression baffle 1-1 having the shortened overall length La-2 whose overall length La-1 is shortened.

For example, when a force F is applied to the right fixing portion 10-2 of the baffle plate 10 to push it toward the left fixing portion 10-1, the right folding portion 10-2 pushed by the right fixing portion 10-2 The portion 10-5 is shifted to the collapsed state while being pushed toward the connection portion 10-3. Therefore, the length of the right fixing portion 10-2 - right folded portion 10-5 is shortened.

At this time, the connection section between the connection section 10-3 and the right folded section 10-5 and the connection section between the right folded section 10-5 and the right fixing section 10-2 have different thicknesses t1, t2 and t3 So that easy deformation occurs (see Fig. 1).

Next, when the connection portion 10-3 of the baffle plate 10 is again pushed toward the left fixing portion 10-1 by applying the force F, the connection portion 10-3 and the left folded portion 10-4 Is pushed to the left fixing portion 10-1 and overlaps to some extent. Therefore, the length of the left fixing part 10-1-left folded part 10-4-connection part 10-3 becomes somewhat shorter.

Due to this, the compression baffle 1-1 can be switched to the uniaxial full-length length La-2 in which the baffle plates 10 are superimposed on each other and overlapped.

5 shows a state in which the baffle 1 according to the present embodiment is installed in the internal space of the fuel tank 100. As shown in Fig.

As shown in the figure, the operator places the right fixing portion 10-2 of the baffle plate 10 in the fuel tank 100 with the third and fourth baffle fixing portions 120-3 and 120-4, The baffle 200 is fastened to each of the third and fourth baffle fixing portions 120-3 and 120-4 in the same manner as the two baffle fixing portions 120-1 and 120-2, 3 and 20-4 are assembled to the fuel tank 100 by two fixers 200, respectively.

In this way, four fixers 200 are fastened to the first, second, third and fourth baffle fixing parts 120-1, 120-2, 120-3, and 120-4 of the fuel tank 100, Each of the three or four baffle connectors 20-1, 20-2, 20-3, and 20-4 is fixed to the four fixers 200 so that the baffle 1 is connected to the inner space of the fuel tank 100 And the fuel tank 100 is manufactured as a finished product having the baffle 1 as an internal space.

As described above, the fuel tank baffle 1 according to the present embodiment includes a plurality of baffle connectors 20-1, 20-2, Right fixing portions 10-1 and 10-2 and connecting portions 20-1 and 20-2 forming connection sections having thicknesses t2 and t3 that are thinner than the other portion thicknesses t1, 10-3 having a shortened overall length La-1 and a left-right folded portion 10-4, 10-5, (1-1), a baffle of a long length suitable for the length of the fuel tank can be applied to the fuel tank irrespective of the type of the fuel tank.
