상기 여과조 하측에 구비되어 유입된 폐수가 정화되도록 바닥에서 부터 상측을 향해 펄프여과지 또는 유리섬유 여과지 또는 부직포 또는 스펀지중 어느 하나로 이루어진 제 1여과층과, 활성탄패드로 이루어진 제 2여과층과, 천패드로 이루어진 제 3여과층이 순차적으로 구비되는 여과층과;
상기 여과조의 여과층을 거쳐 정화된 폐수를 보관, 배출하는 정수조와;
상기 여과조와 정수조 사이에 구비되며, 하측은 상기 여과조에서 정화된 물이 유입되도록 개구부가 구비된 격리판으로 이루어지며;
상기 제 1, 2, 3여과층은 필터와, 상기 필터 상부에 구비되며, 모래와 혼합되는 활성탄으로 이루어진 여과재를 포함하는 간이 폐수여과장치.
