하우징 전면에는 내측에 구비된 배터리에서 공급된 전원으로 초음파를 발생할 수 있도록 작동버튼과 발생된 초음파를 외부로 배출하는 초음파배출홀이 형성되고, 하우징의 내측에는 초음파발진소자가 구비된 휴대용 모기퇴치기에 있어서,
하우징(10)의 배면에는 사용자가 하방으로 압착함으로써 커버(40)를 개방하여 배터리를 교체할 수 있는 고정부(41)와 탄성력에 의해 하측이 커버(40)의 표면에 밀착되어 있는 고정클립(50)을 포함하는 커버(40)가 결합되며,
상기 하우징(10) 내측에는 초음파배출홀(12)과 대응하는 위치에 수납부(13)가 형성되고, 상기 수납부(13)에는 초음파발진소자(21)가 삽입된 후 공명에 의해 초음파가 증폭되어 확산될 수 있도록 수납부커버(14)에 의해 밀폐되며,
상기 수납부(13) 및 수납부커버(14)에는 피씨비(20)와 초음파발진소자(21)를 연결하는 전선이 통과하는 개방부(13a)(14a)가 각각 형성된 것을 특징으로 하는 휴대용 모기퇴치기.
