Description
The present invention relates to a touch screen device that recognizes a touch point by using light, and more particularly, by forming a touch screen device using infrared light on the tempered glass layer constituting the liquid crystal display device, A touch screen device is designed to significantly reduce productivity and portability.
In general, a liquid crystal display (LCD) used in various cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), etc., has lower power consumption than a TFT panel or a PDP panel and can reproduce clear images, It is in the limelight.
In addition, in recent years, in addition to the liquid crystal display device, if a character or a specific icon displayed on the screen is touched by using an object such as a human hand or a pen without using a separate input device such as a mouse, the position is identified and a specific function can be obtained. The liquid crystal display mainly applied to the processing touch screen device is in the spotlight.
The touch screen is classified into a resistive method, a capacitive method, an ultrasonic method, an infrared method, and the like according to an implementation method, and a resistive method and a capacitive method are mainly used.
The resistive touch panel has a structure in which two transparent conductive films, such as ITO, coated with transparent electrodes are laminated. An electric signal is generated when the upper and lower electrode layers are contacted by applying pressure with a finger or a pen. The capacitive touch panel is a method in which a protective film is covered on a conductive film that senses a touch by using static electricity generated in a human body and transmits the detected contact information to the display panel under the film.
Since the resistive film method is not multi-touch and directly pressurized, scratches are generated on the surface, which causes problems such as durability and components, and lower image quality due to the low transmittance of the film used as the conductive film. It is difficult to increase the size, and the capacitive type cannot be used as an input means such as a touch pen which does not flow electricity, and parts with high manufacturing cost are required in order to enable multi-touch with low recognition rate and precision according to moisture or surrounding environment. There is a problem that must be used.
In contrast, an infrared touch panel is provided with an anti-reflective acrylic plate on the front of the display unit, and includes an light emitting element and a light receiving element so as to be paired with each other on the top, bottom, left and right sides of the edge to form an infrared matrix. The rear part is configured to have a screen installed.
Referring to the structure of the conventional infrared touch screen device, a light emitting device for generating a plurality of laser light respectively disposed on any one of the upper side and the lower side, and one of the left side and the right side along the outline of the touch screen, A plurality of light receiving elements are disposed in places where no light emitting elements are disposed above, below, and left and right of the outline.
Accordingly, the liquid crystal display device having the touch screen device as described above is provided with a liquid crystal display layer (LCD layer) 2 inside the housing 1, as shown in FIG. The
In addition, the
When the liquid crystal display device is used, the user touches the

However, since the touch screen device applied to the liquid crystal display device as described above must be configured separately from the tempered glass layer, there is a problem that the components are complicated and the productivity is lowered, thereby reducing the weight.
