Description

Pneumatic vehicle tire

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire for a vehicle, and more particularly, to an improvement in a bead portion capable of preventing bending of a bead toe portion.

In a pneumatic tire for a vehicle, the bead portion is a portion that is coupled to the rim to fix the tire to the wheel and needs high durability and rigidity. However, the bead portion is also bent under a large pressure, as shown in FIG. 1, which causes deformation of the tire bead portion by using a rubber having a high hardness in the hump strip portion of the bead portion to prevent deformation and bending. Various methods have been attempted, such as preventing bending or adjusting the shape of the bead, adding a semifinished product to reinforce the inside of the bead.

Publication No. 10-2002-0039263 discloses a technique for forming a tow portion having a constant curvature inside the tire to facilitate the seating of the bead portion on the rim and to reduce the amount of deformation of the tow portion when the bead portion bends under load. However, the shape of the bead-toe part like this does not conform to the carcass equilibrium theory (SCCT) because the carcass line is formed inside the curvature formed inside the toe part when applied to the tire, and the bead toe part is not bent. There is a problem in that the contact area between the tire and the wheel of the tow portion is reduced to decrease the fastening force.

The present invention is to provide a technique for preventing the bending of the bead toe portion for a firm coupling of the tire and the vehicle wheel.

Therefore, the present invention, by installing a nylon edge strip (Nylon Edge Strip) at the end of the steel chafer (Steel Chafer) installed inside the contact portion of the bead to the rim flange to prevent the bead to be deformed by bending inward.

The present invention minimizes the deformation of the bead-toe portion of a heavy-loaded tire by bending, thereby continually maintaining the contact area between the rim and the bead-toe portion, thereby improving the fitting performance of the rim and the tire. It can be done.

In addition, there is less deformation and bending of the bead portion during regeneration, thereby improving reproducibility.

Figure 3 is an excerpt sectional view illustrating the installed state of the nylon edge strip (Nylon Edge Strip) of the present invention.
4 is a cross-sectional view of the nylon edge strip of the present invention.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire for a vehicle, and more particularly, to an improvement in a bead portion capable of preventing bending of a bead toe portion. The present invention relates to a tread (1), a sidewall (2), a bead portion (3) and an interior. In the carcass (4) forming a skeleton of the bead portion 3, the bead core (31) and the bead filler (31), and the steel hopper (5) and nylon hopper (6), It is characterized in that the nylon edge strip (Nylon Edge Strip) 7 is provided between the end of the nylon chafer (6) and the steel chaper (5).

In the above configuration, the nylon edge strip 7 serves as a support so that the bead portion is not bent to minimize the bend of the bead portion. For this reason, the nylon edge strip 7 is preferably applied to a hard rubber, such as bead filler (31).

In order to obtain more efficient holding force, the nylon edge strip 7 is a bonding layer 71 which is a portion inserted between the nylon hopper 6 and the steel hopper 5, and a reinforcing layer 72 at the center of the nylon edge strip 7. And a stepping layer 73 which is installed in close contact with the steel chaper to prevent the nylon edge strips from being pushed out.

The bonding layer 71 is inserted between the inner end of the nylon hopper (6) and the steel chaper (5) serves to fix the nylon edge strip (7) to be located at the inner end of the nilo hopper, the reinforcing layer of the central portion (72) is a part that plays a role of resisting the actual bending when the bent toe portion breaks, the stepping layer 73 serves as a step to prevent the nylon edge strip (7) is pushed out when the continuous movement of the nylon chuck (6) occurs It is a layer.

The stepping layer 73 is composed of the inclined portion 731 and the contact portion 732 to increase the binding force with the rubber and the steel chafer 5 of the bead portion is preferable to prevent the nylon edge strip 7 is pushed out.

The length a of the bonding layer 71 is four times the length b of the reinforcing layer 72 in the center portion, and the length c of the inclined portion 731 of the stepping layer 73 is the length of the reinforcing layer 72. b), the length d of the adhesion part 732 of the stepping layer 73 is 30-40% of the length a of the bonding layer 71, and the height h of the reinforcing layer 72. Is preferably the same as the length (b) of the reinforcing layer.

Of course, the length ratio of each part can be adjusted according to the thickness of the chafer applied to the tire, the size of the bead core and the like.
