BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire for a vehicle, and more particularly, to an improvement in a bead portion capable of preventing bending of a bead toe portion.
In a pneumatic tire for a vehicle, the bead portion is a portion that is coupled to the rim to fix the tire to the wheel and needs high durability and rigidity. However, the bead portion is also bent under a large pressure, as shown in FIG. 1, which causes deformation of the tire bead portion by using a rubber having a high hardness in the hump strip portion of the bead portion to prevent deformation and bending. Various methods have been attempted, such as preventing bending or adjusting the shape of the bead, adding a semifinished product to reinforce the inside of the bead.
Publication No. 10-2002-0039263 discloses a technique for forming a tow portion having a constant curvature inside the tire to facilitate the seating of the bead portion on the rim and to reduce the amount of deformation of the tow portion when the bead portion bends under load. However, the shape of the bead-toe part like this does not conform to the carcass equilibrium theory (SCCT) because the carcass line is formed inside the curvature formed inside the toe part when applied to the tire, and the bead toe part is not bent. There is a problem in that the contact area between the tire and the wheel of the tow portion is reduced to decrease the fastening force.
The present invention is to provide a technique for preventing the bending of the bead toe portion for a firm coupling of the tire and the vehicle wheel.
Therefore, the present invention, by installing a nylon edge strip (Nylon Edge Strip) at the end of the steel chafer (Steel Chafer) installed inside the contact portion of the bead to the rim flange to prevent the bead to be deformed by bending inward.
The present invention minimizes the deformation of the bead-toe portion of a heavy-loaded tire by bending, thereby continually maintaining the contact area between the rim and the bead-toe portion, thereby improving the fitting performance of the rim and the tire. It can be done.
In addition, there is less deformation and bending of the bead portion during regeneration, thereby improving reproducibility.
