Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a suture, and more particularly, to a suture used to suture or pull the object (skin) to be inserted from one side of the object to be inserted with only a minimal wound.
In general, sutures used as surgical sutures can be classified into synthetic sutures and natural sutures depending on the raw material, and absorbable sutures and sutures that are naturally decomposed after a certain period of time after being sutured to the wound site depending on whether they are absorbed in vivo. It is possible to classify it as a nonabsorbable suture, in which the tissue of the wound is not disassembled even after the suture is closed and the suture must be removed through reoperation. In addition, it can be classified into a monofilament suture composed of a single filament and a multifilament suture made by braiding several strands of filaments according to the manufacturing method.
Such a suture is attached to one end of a suture needle, and a structure in which a suture is inserted into one end of a typical suture needle is disclosed in US Pat. No. 1,558,037. That is, one end of the suture is inserted into a cylindrical installation groove formed at one end of the suture needle to have a fixed structure.
However, there is no big problem in inserting one strand of suture into the installation groove of the suture needle, but it is difficult to insert several strands of suture into the installation groove of the suture needle at the same time. The reason is that the sutures are flexible and lack the bond between them.
In order to solve such a problem, the Applicant inserts the suture into the installation groove of the suture needle through the connecting member, instead of inserting the suture into the installation groove of the suture needle, a plurality of suture can be easily inserted and attached to the suture needle He filed a 'connection structure of suture needle and suture' (Utility Model Registration Application No. 2003-35980). However, in the suture needle, crevices are formed in the axial direction of the suture needle so that the connecting member portion can be easily inserted into the installation groove of the suture needle, so that blood leaks into the gap of the suture needle during the suture process. For example, the suture needle may be contaminated. And since the connecting member portion is larger than the outer diameter of the suture, excessive bleeding may occur in the process of suturing the outer diameter of the portion where the installation grooves of the suture needle is larger than the outer diameter of the lower end of the suture needle.
