Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy ingot.
Among alloys that are widely used for industrial purposes, there are alloys whose main components are aluminum (Al) and zinc (Zn). Among them, galvalume is composed of aluminum, zinc, and silicon (Si). An alloy such as galvalume first melts the Al ingot to form Al melt. Then, the raw ore Si and Zn ingot are sequentially added. The alloy molten metal produced in this way is cast using an ingot mold to finally produce an alloy ingot.
Alloys such as galvalume are preferred to refine the size of the grains formed on the surface of the steel sheet in order to improve the corrosion resistance and adhesion to the base material and to make the surface beautiful, and the crystals are homogeneously present. To this end, the titanium (Ti) component may be added to prepare the alloy so that the crystal may be solidified due to rapid cooling before the crystal grows.
However, in the related art, since Ti is added to the raw material when Ti is added, it takes time to homogenize the grains due to the dispersion of Ti, which makes it difficult to homogenize it.
In addition, when injecting a Zn ingot into Al molten metal when manufacturing molten alloy, the Zn ingot is heated when it is directly exposed to high temperature heat discharged from a burner existing in the melting furnace or when the temperature of the Al molten metal is excessively higher than the melting point of the Zn ingot. It is often oxidized. The oxidized Zn ingot becomes an impurity when it enters the Al molten metal, so an effort to remove it is necessary.
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy ingot in which the grains are efficiently refined and the grains are uniformly distributed.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy ingot that reduces oxidation of Zn.
The above object is, according to an embodiment of the present invention, in the method for producing an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy ingot, preparing an Al ingot and an Al-Ti-B mother alloy ingot; The Al ingot and the Al-Ti-B mother alloy ingot are introduced into the main melting space where the heat of the burner is touched in the melting furnace so that the final weight percentage of Ti is 0.003 to 0.05. Completely dissolving the ingot to obtain an Al-Ti-B molten metal; Sequentially injecting Si ore and Zn ingot into an undissolved space in which the heat of the burner does not reach in the melting furnace to obtain an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy molten metal; It is achieved by a method for producing an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy ingot comprising the step of casting the molten Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy in an ingot mold.
Here, in the obtaining of the Al-Ti-B molten metal, it is preferable that the Al-Ti-B mother alloy ingot is completely dissolved after the Al ingot is completely dissolved.
Another object of the present invention is to prepare an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy ingot according to an embodiment of the present invention, by injecting the Al ingot into the main melting space of the burner heat in the melting furnace Completely dissolving the Al ingot to obtain Al melt; Injecting Si ore into an undissolved space in which the heat of the burner does not reach in the melting furnace to obtain an Al-Si alloy molten metal; Preparing an Al-Si-Ti-B alloy molten metal by injecting an Al-Ti-B mother alloy ingot into the unmelting space such that the final weight percentage of Ti is 0.003 to 0.05; Injecting a Zn ingot into the undissolved space to obtain an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy melt; It is also achieved by a method for producing an Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy ingot comprising casting the molten Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy to an ingot mold.
Here, it is preferable that the melting furnace further includes a partition partitioning into a main melting space in which a burner is installed and an undissolving space not directly affected by the burner.
In addition, the Zn is preferably added in the state that the temperature of the molten metal is 650 ℃ or less.
In addition, the Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy molten metal is Si component: 1.6% by weight ± 10%, Ti component: 0.005 ~ 0.05% by weight, Zn component: 43.4% by weight ± 10%, Al component: balance, and It is desirable to include other unavoidable impurities.
In addition, in the Al-Ti-B mother alloy, Ti has 3 to 7 wt%, and B preferably has 0.1 to 3 wt%.
According to the above-described configuration of the present invention, it is possible to increase the miniaturization of the grains of the Al-Si-Ti-B-Zn alloy molten metal and provide an effect in which the grains are homogeneously distributed.

Hereinafter, an embodiment according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 (a) is a cross-sectional view illustrating partitioning into a
As illustrated in FIG. 1, a
The
Since the
In order to remove impurities such as oxides present in the molten metal after melting, the
According to the first embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the
If the Al ingot is melted to prepare an Al molten metal and then the
Next, the prepared Al ingot and the Al-Ti-B mother alloy ingot are introduced into the
The Al ingot and the Al-Ti-B mother alloy ingot may be added together regardless of the order, or after the Al ingot is completely dissolved, the Al-Ti-B mother alloy ingot may be added to make a molten metal. .
In the next step, the Al ingot and the Al-Ti-B master alloy ingot are preferably dissolved until the raw Si material is introduced. If both the Al ingot and the Al-Ti-B master alloy ingot are not dissolved, the raw ore Si to be introduced into the
As a method for miniaturizing and homogenizing alloy grains, there is a method of rapidly cooling the alloy. In order to forcibly cool the alloy, a quenching treatment or chemically, Ti component may be added. If the alloy is not rapidly cooled when solidifying the alloy, the nucleus grows due to the mutual interference between the nuclei during the solidification due to the seed effect, making it difficult to refine and homogenize the alloy. For this reason, many Al-Ti master alloys are used to enable rapid solidification when casting by adding the Ti component, and in recent years, grain size has been further refined (about 1/2 times) than that of the Al-Ti master alloy. Al-Ti-B mother alloys are also used, and Al-Ti-B mother alloys are also used in the present invention.
The Al-Ti-B master alloy ingot has a final weight percentage of Ti of 0.003 to 0.05 weight percent, preferably 0.003 to 0.01 weight percent, more preferably, based on the total weight percent of the cast Al-Si-Ti-Zn alloy. Is added at a concentration of 0.00375 to 0.005% by weight. The Al-Ti-B mother alloy can be generally selected from commercially available commercial products, and typical commercial products are Al-5% Ti-1% B mother alloy ingot or Al-6% Ti-0.2% B mother Alloy ingot. The Ti has 3 to 7% by weight relative to the total weight of the Al-Ti-B master alloy, B is also 0.1 to 3% by weight relative to the total weight of the Al-Ti-B master alloy Although it is preferable, it is not limited to this ratio.
Next, the raw ore Si is injected into the undissolved space 140 (S3a). Since the Si gemstone has a very high melting point of 1414 ° C., the Si gemstone is dispersed in the
If the Si raw stone is not refined in the molten alloy, the physical properties are lowered, which is not preferable as an alloy. In order to solve this problem, it is important to refine the Si gemstone, which is rapidly cooled when casting the Si gemstone dispersed using the Al-Ti-B master alloy in the S2a step so that the Si gemstone is not grown by the nucleus. Make this possible. The refinement of the alloying components is very important for homogeneizing the entire alloy, preventing cracks during casting, and improving surface quality.
Next, the Zn ingot is introduced into the undissolved space 140 (S4a). Since the Zn ingot is in contact with the heat of the
The Al-Si-Ti-
Next, the
Next, dross removal and stirring are performed (S6a). In the manufacturing process of the Al-Ti-Si-
The Al-Ti-Si-Zn alloy
As shown in FIG. 3, the manufacturing method of the Al-Si-Ti-Zn alloy ingot according to the second embodiment is similar to the manufacturing method of the Al-Si-Ti-Zn alloy ingot according to the first embodiment. It's the same, but there is a difference in the order.
First, the Al ingot is introduced into the
Compared with the first embodiment, there is a difference in the order in which the raw ore Si and the Al-Ti-B mother alloy are added. Irrespective of the order, even if the Al-Ti-B master alloy ingot is introduced, a homogeneous Al-Ti-Si-Zn alloy ingot is formed after rapid casting to manufacture the Al-Ti-Si-Zn alloy ingot. . However, the order generally used is to first inject the Si raw ore into the Al-Ti-B master alloy ingot as in the second embodiment, and finally, by using this method, the Al-Si-Ti-Zn alloy Ingots are made.
