단부에 외향 플랜지(1a,2a)가 구비된 제1,2상수도관(1,2)을 이음하는 것으로,
상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지 사이에 개재되어 상기 제1,2상수도관 사이를 수밀하게 밀봉하는 패킹(10)과;
상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지 사이를 덮어 보호하는 덮개(20)와;
상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지와 패킹 및 덮개에 체결되는 다수의 체결구(30)를 포함하며,
상기 패킹은, 상기 제1,2상수도관의 내주면에 각각 밀착되어 상기 제1,2상수도관의 내주면측을 패킹하는 환형의 제1패킹부(11), 상기 제1패킹부의 외주면에 상기 제1패킹부에 대해 직각방향으로 연장 형성되어 상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지 사이에 개재되는 제2패킹부(12), 상기 제2패킹부의 외주연에서 상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지를 향해 양측으로 분기 형성되며 상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지를 감싸는 한 쌍의 제3패킹부(13)를 포함하되,
상기 제2패킹부와 상기 제3패킹부에는 상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지에 형성된 체결공과 연통하는 체결공 및 체결장공이 구비되어 상기 체결구(30)를 통해 체결됨으로써 상기 제1,2플랜지를 수밀하게 감싸 고정하며,
상기 덮개는, 각각 반원형으로 형성되면서 상호 간에 결합되는 제1,2덮개편(40,50)으로 이루어지되, 상기 제1,2덮개편은 각각 주벽(41,51), 상기 주벽의 양측에서 각각 내경을 향해 연장 형성되는 측벽(42,52)을 통해 각각 내경을 향해 개방되는 캡 단면으로 형성되고, 상기 주벽에 나사 체결되어 단부가 상기 한 쌍의 제3패킹부가 벌어지면서 상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지의 둘레부에 밀착되도록 하는 다수의 조임구(43,53)를 포함하고,
상기 패킹의 제2패킹부의 일측면 이상에 관형으로 돌출 형성되며 상기 제1,2상수도관의 제1,2플랜지에 형성된 체결공(1b,2b)에 결합되어 상기 패킹을 상기 제1,2상수도관 중 어느 하나에 끼움 결합하는 고정관(14)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플랜지 접속형 상수도관 이음 장치.
