도 2는 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 휴대용 무선단말기에 구비된 스타일러스 겸용 안테나를 도시한 단면도이다. 도 2를 참조하면, 스타일러스는 단말기 본체의 하우징(230)상에 설치되는 안테나(130)에 겸용으로 구성된다. 상기 안테나(130)는 출몰식 안테나 장치로써, 본체에 고정되는 헬리컬안테나(200)와 상기 헬리컬안테나(200)에 삽입되어 인입 및 인출이 가능하도록 설치되는 로드안테나(210)로 구성된다. 상기 헬리컬안테나(200)는 본체 하우징(230)에 설치된 고정편상에 나사결합에 의해 결합되어 상하수직방향으로 착탈이 가능하며 상기 고정편은 금속성재질로 형성되어 본체의 무선송수신부(135)와 전기적으로 접속된다. 또한 상기 헬리컬안테나(200)에서 로드안테나(210)가 완전히 인출되면, 상기 로드안테나(210)의 상단부는 상기 헬리컬안테나(200)와 접속됨으로써, 안테나의 기능이 발생하게 되는 것이다. 이때 상기 로드안테나(210)의 하단부에는 첨예하게 형성된 접촉부(220)를 형성 내지 설치함으로써 터치스크린(115)으로 구성된 단말기의 엘씨디표시부(110)를 조작할 수 있게 된다. 따라서 사용자는 헬리컬안테나(200)를 휴대용 무선단말기의 안테나슬롯에서 분리시킨 후 데이터 입력수단으로 사용되는 단말기의 엘씨디 모듈인 터치스크린(115)을 조작할 수 있는 스타일러스로 사용할 수 있는 것이다. 본 발명의 일실시 예에서는 상기 로드안테나(210)의 하단부에 첨예하게 형성 내지 설치되어진 접촉부(220)가 있는 터치스크린(115)을 조작할 수 있는 스타일러스와, 휴대용 무선단말기에 마그네틱을 감지할 수 있는 스타일러스감지부(125)를 구성한다. 상기 스타일러스감지부(125)는 스타일러스 겸용 안테나(130)를 구비한 휴대용 무선단말기가 TV모드로 동작하여 스타일러스 겸용 안테나(130)가 안테나 기능을 수행하던 중 사용자로부터 PDA로의 사용목적으로 상기 스타일러스 겸용 안테나(130)를 휴대용 무선단말기에서 분리됨을 감지할 수 있도록 구성되어진다.2 is a cross-sectional view showing a stylus combined antenna provided in a portable wireless terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention.
