정면이 직사각형상인 박스체로, 상단 좌우측에는 상기 천장부(10)의 가로대(13)와 세로지지대(12) 사이에 위치되어 세로지지대(12)에 의해 고정볼트(21c)로 체결고정되는 고정공(21b)을 갖는 정단면이 "ㄱ"형상인 좌우측보강부재(21,21a)가 각각 형성되고, 상면 중심에는 상부로 돌출되어 측면에 주름관(22b)이 체결고정되는 연결관(22a)을 갖는 배기관(22)이 형성되며, 중심부 정면에는 받침대(23b)에 의해 상하로 구획되어 도어(23a)에 의해 개폐되는 수납공간(23)이 형성되고, 하부 정면이나 좌우측에는 버티컬개폐조절노브(24b)의 조작에 의해 개폐되는 버티컬(24a)이 설치되어 개방시 환기가 이루어지는 환기공(24)이 형성되는 환기구몸체(20)와;
상기 환기구몸체(20)의 배기관(22) 상면에 진동소음방지패드(33)를 위치시키면서 그 상면에 모터(32)를 안착고정시킴으로써 배기관(22) 상단을 밀폐시키고, 배기관(22) 내부로는 환기구몸체(20)의 작동스위치(34)에 의해 온/오프되고 정/역회동되는 흡배기팬(31)이 모터(32)에 축결합되어 회동가능하게 위치되며, 상기 연결관(22a)을 통해 외부공기의 흡기와 외부로의 배기가 이루어지고, 상기 배기관(22) 하단에는 수납공간(23) 후방측으로 확장되어 배기와 흡기를 유도하는 후드(35)가 형성되는 흡배기구(30)와;
상기 수납공간(23)의 최하단 받침대(23b) 하부에는 상기 배기관(22)과 연통되는 필터삽입공(44)이 형성되고, 필터삽입공(44)에는 밀폐되게 끼움결합되는 직사각형상으로 후방측에는 배기관(22) 연장선상에 필터(41)가 고정장착되고 정면 상단에는 후방측으로 수직절곡되어 내측에 최하단 받침대(23b)가 삽입되는 삽입요부(43)를 갖는 결합편(42)이 형성되는 필터카트리지(40)를 구비하는 공동 주택용 환기 개선 장치.
