본 발명은 티브이의 자동 채널 설정시 설정된 채널 수를 표시하여 티브이의 편리성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 한 티브이의 선국된 채널 수 표시방법에 관한 것으로서, 최초 채널에서부터 마지막 채널까지의 전체 채널 수를 파악하여 OSD를 이용하여 현재까지 검색된 채널까지의 백분율값을 바챠트로 표시하고, 각 선국된 채널에 대해서는 상기 바차트에 표시하여 사용자가 상기 선국된 채널 수를 인식할 수 있도록 한 것을 특징으로 한다.
