Abstract
Description
상기 강유전성 액정은 하프 브이(Half V) 타입의 강유전성 액정이다.
상기 정상구동기간 동안 상기 게이트 스타팅 펄스는 한 프레임기간 동안 한번 발생되는 단계를 더 포함한다.
상기 목적 외에 본 발명의 다른 목적 및 특징들은 첨부한 도면들을 참조한 실시예에 대한 설명을 통하여 명백하게 드러나게 될 것이다.
Claims (10)
- 게이트라인들과 데이터라인들의 교차부에 액정셀이 위치하는 액정패널과,상기 게이트라인들에 순차적으로 스캔펄스를 공급하는 게이트 드라이버와,상기 스캔펄스의 공급 타이밍을 제어하기 위해 상기 게이트 드라이버에 게이트 스타팅 펄스(Gate Starting Pulse)를 발생시키는 타이밍 제어부와,상기 타이밍 제어부 내에 설치되어 강유전성 액정의 전계배향기간 및 정상구동기간 따라 게이트 스타팅 펄스의 공급 횟수를 선택하기 위한 스위치부를 구비하고,상기 게이트 스타팅 펄스는 상기 강유전성 액정의 전계배향기간에 한 프레임기간 동안 10 ~ 400회 발생되는 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시장치.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 액정패널의 데이터라인들에 데이터전압을 공급하기 위한 데이터 드라이버를 추가로 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 스위치부는 상기 정상구동기간에 상기 게이트 스타팅 펄스를 한 프레임기간 동안 한번 공급하도록 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시장치.
- 강유전성 액정의 전계배향기간과 정상구동기간 중 어느 하나를 선택하는 단계와,상기 전계배향기간에서 한 프레임기간 동안 게이트 스타팅 펄스를 10 ~ 400회 발생시키는 단계와,상기 게이트 스타팅 펄스에 따라 게이트라인들에 스캔펄스를 공급하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시장치의 구동방법.

- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 스캔펄스에 응답하여 액정셀에 데이터전압을 공급하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시장치의 구동방법.

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 강유전성 액정은 하프 브이(Half V) 타입의 강유전성 액정인 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 정상구동기간 동안 상기 게이트 스타팅 펄스는 한 프레임기간 동안 한번 발생되는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 강유전성 액정표시장치의 구동방법.
