Abstract

A manual reel type height measuring device is provided to easily read measurement results in a remote place from the measuring device by using flexible wire and guide covering. A manual reel type height measuring device includes a bottom plate(1), a reel(3), a measure guide unit(4), a guide covering(5), a wire(6), and a grip(11). A wheel(2) is attached to the bottom plate. The reel is rotatably installed at the center of the bottom plate. The measure guide unit is installed in front of the reel and fixed to the bottom plate. The guide covering is extended long from the measure guide unit. The wire is guided inside the guide covering. The grip is installed at an end of the wire. The reel has a cylindrical shape and has a groove on one side to wind the wire and another groove on the other side to wind a measure(7). A support shaft is formed on a center shaft of the reel and rotatably installed on the bottom plate. A front end of the wire is extended inside the guide covering so that the measure interlocked with the wire is moved up when pulling the wire.
