Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a long-term storage facility for a high dose radioactive waste filter, and more particularly, when the high dose radioactive waste filter is assembled into a transfer unit and transported, the transfer chain is reliably prevented from falling to the side due to the weight of the waste filter. Long-term storage of high-dose radioactive waste filter that has a structure that prevents air pollution due to evaporation of residual water by allowing drainage to be carried out quickly and draining quickly without remaining in the collection tank. It is about a facility.
In general, nuclear power plants treat high-dose radioactive waste filters generated after the water purification of the primary grid water in the radiation management zone as classified wastes after decay. The low-dose radioactive waste filters are treated as hybrid wastes. The waste filter is treated in a shield drum by decaying radioactivity after being stored in a temporary storage shield, but the shield is shielded by using a shield such as a lead blanket and a lead brick because the capacity of the temporary storage shield is insufficient.
However, the conventional waste filter treatment method is not only accompanied by unnecessary exposure to the operator, but also requires a large amount of temporary storage shields due to a lack of storage capacity of the waste filter temporary storage shields. There was this.
In order to solve the above problems, the present applicant has made various attempts and efforts, and as a result, the "high dose radioactive waste filter filed as a patent application No. 10-2007-93470 to the Korean Patent Office on September 14, 2007 Long-term storage facilities "(hereinafter referred to as" first application ").
Looking at the configuration of the prior application, a plurality of support plates having a waste filter inlet portion protruding horizontally formed on one side portion, spaced at a predetermined height to form a multi-layer; A plurality of first sprockets rotatably installed at both ends of an upper surface of each of the support plates; A second sprocket rotatably installed on an inlet of the support plate; A drive sprocket rotatably installed on the support plate; A transfer chain which circulates sequentially along the first and second sprockets by connecting the first and second sprockets in a row; Two auxiliary sprockets rotatably installed at both sides of the second sprocket and engaged with the transfer chain to maintain tension of the transfer chain; A driving chain connecting one of the driving sprocket and the first sprocket and transmitting a driving force to the connected first sprocket; A drive motor for driving the drive sprocket respectively; A transfer unit mounted to be spaced apart from each other along the upper surface of the transfer chain and detachably assembled with the waste filter to transfer the waste filter according to the movement of the transfer chain; A waste filter storage unit disposed below the support plate of the lowest floor, the waste filter storage unit configured to collect a residual water discharged from the waste filter; A shielding outer wall installed to surround the outside of the waste filter storage unit without an upper surface and having a lead glass window so that an operator can monitor the inside; It is composed of a control panel electrically connected to each of the drive motor of the waste filter storage unit for forward and reverse rotation of each drive motor by adjustment to the operator.
However, if the transfer chain has the configuration as described above, the transfer chain flows without a separate support member, and if the transfer unit vertically placed on the transfer chain flows to the side during transfer, the transfer chain is moved to the side of the transfer chain due to the weight of the transfer unit and the waste filter. In addition to the warpage, unstable conditions such as removal of the waste filter from the transfer unit may occur, and there is a problem in that air pollution may intensify due to evaporation of the residual water while the residual water is stored in the sump for a long time.
The present invention has been made in view of the problems of the prior application, the purpose is to ensure that the high-dose radioactive waste filter is assembled to the transfer unit and transported to ensure that the transport chain falls to the side due to the weight of the waste filter to ensure stable transport It is possible to achieve this and at the same time to provide a high-dose radioactive waste filter long-term storage facility that can prevent the air pollution due to residual water evaporation by quickly draining the residual water collected into the sump without remaining in the sump.
