Claims (7)
- 다수개의 레드(R), 그린(G), 블루(B) 발광 다이오드가 하나의 클러스트를 이루고, 다수개의 상기 클러스트가 액정표시패널의 직하부에 배치되어 광을 공급하도록 하는 백라이트 장치에 있어서,상기 발광 다이오드들 사이에는 인접한 발광 다이오드로 광이 전달되는 것을 방지하기 위하여 광의 경로를 변경시키도록 하는 광학 구조물이 형성되고,상기 광학 구조물의 높이는 상기 발광 다이오드의 높이보다 낮게 구비됨을 특징으로 하는 광학 구조물을 갖는 엘이디 백라이트 장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 광학 구조물은 광을 반사시킬 수 있는 불투명한 수지 또는 금속재질인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 구조물을 갖는 엘이디 백라이트 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 광학 구조물은 상기 클러스트의 중앙에 형성되며, 상기 광학 구조물을 중심으로 클러스트를 구성하는 발광 다이오드들이 일정간격으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 구조물을 갖는 엘이디 백라이트 장치.
- 제 2항에 있어서, 상기 광학 구조물은 상기 클러스트의 외곽을 둘러싸도록 형성되며, 클러스트를 구성하는 발광 다이오드들은 상기 광학 구조물의 내측에 일정간격으로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 구조물을 갖는 엘이디 백라이트 장치.
- 제 3항 또는 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 광학 구조물의 단면은 반원형인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 구조물을 갖는 엘이디 백라이트 장치.
- 제 3항 또는 제 4항에 있어서, 상기 광학 구조물의 단면은 삼각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 구조물을 갖는 엘이디 백라이트 장치.
