Abstract

A bead filler cutting apparatus of large tires is provided to prevent defects of tires by preventing formation of a groove at a joint portion between cut bead fillers. A bead filler cutting apparatus includes a cutter(4) which moves in a vertical direction by an up/down cylinder so as to cut a bead filler(2) extruded from an extruding machine into a predetermined length. A bracket(5) connected to a main body of the up/down cylinder equipped with the cutter reciprocates in a width-wise direction of the bead filler along a ball screw(8) and an LM guide(9) which are connected to a motor(6) through a pulley(7). A cutter standby position sensor and a cutter stop position sensor are spaced apart from each other on a support frame in which the ball screw and the LM guide are arranged.
