Abstract

A refrigerator with shelves of which designs can be changed in various ways is provided to make the shelves look better than conventional shelves and simply replace panels or stoppers when the panels or stoppers have to be replaced without having to replace whole shelf unit. A refrigerator includes a main body formed with storing chambers, shelf units(40) for defining the storing compartment, and shelf supporting parts formed with grooves. Each of the shelf units has a panel(41) for food, and at least one stopper(50) separatively provided to the panel and inserted into the groove for restraining movement of the panel in the lengthwise direction of the shelf supporting part. A decoration part(60) is disposed along at least an edge of the panel.
