Claims (5)
- 삭제
- 하부 기판;하부 기판과 소정 거리를 두고 대향된 상부 기판;상기 상,하부 기판 사이에 개재되며 다수개의 액정 분자를 포함하는 액정층;상기 하부 기판 내측면에 형성되며 액정 분자를 구동시키는 프린지 필드를 형성하는 화소 전극과 카운터 전극;상기 화소 전극과 카운터 전극이 형성된 하부 기판과 액정층 사이에 개재되며 소정의 제 1 러빙축을 갖는 제 1 수평 배향막;상기 상부 기판과 액정층 사이에 개재되며 상기 제 1 러빙축과 평행한 제 2 러빙축을 갖는 제 2 수평 배향막;상기 하부 기판 및 상기 상부 기판의 외측면에 각각 배치되어 서로 직교하는 제 1 및 제 2 편광축을 가지며, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 편광축 중 어느 하나가 상기 제 1 및 제 2 러빙축과 일치하는 제 1 및 제 2 편광판을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 FFS-LCD.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 액정층의 유전율 이방성이 양인 경우, 제 1 및 제 2 러빙축과 프린지 필드 방향은 45°이상을 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 FFS-LCD.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 액정층의 유전율 이방성이 음인 경우, 제 1 및 제 2 러빙축과 프린지 필드 방향은 45°이하를 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 FFS-LCD.
