Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 블록-기반 비디오 디코더에서, 인코딩된 비디오 정보의 비트스트림에 포함된 기준 프레임들을 이용하는 방법에 있어서,(a) 제 1 기준 프레임을 디코딩하고 압축하는 단계;(b) 제 2 기준 프레임을 디코딩하고 압축하는 단계;(c) 상기 비트스트림의 다른 프레임을 디코딩하기 위해 상기 제 1 또는 제 2 기준 프레임의 일부를 선택적으로 복원하는 단계;(d) 상기 비트스트림의 각각의 새로운 기준 프레임을 디코딩할 때, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 기준 프레임들 중에서 가장 오래된 기준 프레임을 상기 새로운 기준 프레임으로 대체하고, 잔여 기준 프레임의 일부로서 저장된 고주파수 데이터를 삭제하고, 상기 잔여 기준 프레임을 재압축하는 단계; 및(e) 상기 단계 (c) 및 (d)를 반복하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 삭제
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 압축 단계들은,기준 영상을 영역들로 나누는 단계;상기 각각의 영역을 개별적으로 압축하는 단계; 및상기 압축된 영역들을 저장하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,고정 길이 인코딩 기법을 이용하여 각각의 영역을 압축하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,가변 길이 인코딩 기법을 이용하여 각각의 영역을 압축하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,압축된 영역들을 나타내는 세그먼트들의 저장 위치들을 식별하기 위해 다수의 포인터들을 저장하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,가변 길이 인코딩된 영역들은 메모리의 고정 길이 용량 내에 세그먼트들로서 저장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 메모리의 고정 길이 용량을 초과하는 상기 세그먼트의 임의의 부분은 절단되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 메모리의 고정 길이 용량을 초과하는 상기 세그먼트의 임의의 부분은 개별적인 메모리 공간에 저장되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
