- 탄체(1)의 내부에 설치되어 있는 분산-점화장약의 폭발에 의하여 분말상 고체연료 또는 액체연료와 액상의 점화촉매제와의 혼합물이 공기중으로 분산되어 연료-공기 구름을 발생시키며, 상기 연료-공기 구름중에 분산되어 있는 점화촉매제와 공기중의 산소와의 반응에 의하여 발생한 고온의 연소에너지를 가진 무수히 많은 점화원이 상기 연료 주성분-공기 구름을 폭발시키도록 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연료기화 폭발탄(Fuel Air Explosive)의 기폭방법.
