Abstract
The synchronization setting method of the communication switching system according to the present invention is a service of the communication switching system only when the GSMP master and the GSMP slave of the communication switching system to which the universal switch management protocol (hereinafter referred to as GSMP) is completed for mutual synchronization. The present invention relates to a synchronization setting method of a communication switching system that can be started. According to the present invention, when the GSMP master and the GSMP slave are both synchronized in the communication switching system to which GSMP is applied, the service of the communication switching system is started. It is designed to prevent service failures that can occur by either service starting without synchronization on either side.
Description
The present invention communicates only when the GSMP Master and the GSMP Slave of the communication switching system to which the General Switch Management Protocol (GSMP) is abbreviated. The present invention relates to a synchronization setting method of a communication switching system that enables a service of a switching system to be started.
In general, a communication exchange system is divided into a control unit that is responsible for call acceptance and system management, and a switching unit that performs switching by connecting an actual switch by call acceptance.
In the GSMP, the control unit is set as the GSMP master in charge of the control of the communication switching system, and the switching system resource controlled by the GSMP master, that is, the switching unit is set as the GSMP slave, and a standardized message is generated between the GSMP master and the GSMP slave. An exchange control protocol that provides the interface method used.
Therefore, by using the GSMP, it is possible to provide a standardized interface between the control unit and the switching unit, so that the control unit and the switching unit of different systems can be connected, and the service provider can configure a network using various control units and the switching unit.
The procedure of initial synchronization for the start of service between the GSMP master and the GSMP slave in the GSMP interworking is called an 'adjacency protocol procedure' (hereinafter abbreviated as 'Adjacency').
Next, some terms for describing a process of performing the adjacency setting of the GSMP will be described.
1. GSMP Adjacency 메시지1. GSMP Adjacency Message
SYN': 'Sync Start Message', that is, a message that starts a synchronization procedure between a GSMP master and a GSMP slave.
SYNACK': 'Synchronization start response message', that is, response message of GSMP partner (Peer, master's peer is slave and slave's peer is master) to 'SYN' message.
ACK': A message indicating the 'synchronization complete message', that is, the 'ESTAB' status (described below) of the GSMP master and the GSMP slave.
2. GSMP Adjacency 상태2. GSMP Adjacency Status
SYNSENT': 'Synchronization start message transmission status', that is, the status of starting the synchronization procedure after sending a 'SYN' message.
SYNRCVD': 'Synchronization start message reception state', that is, 'SYN' is received from the GSMP counterpart.
ESTAB': 'Synchroness Completed' Adjacency between GSMP Master and GSMP Slave is established.
1 is a state and message flow diagram of both sides for establishing synchronization between a conventional GSMP master and a GSMP slave.
As can be seen in Figure 1, the GSMP master 10 and GSMP slave 20 is set by the message received each of the three states (1, 2, 3) and uses a method of indirectly informing its status to the other party Doing.
2 is a state and message flow chart illustrating a problem that may occur when the synchronization setting method according to the state diagram of FIG. 1 is applied to an actual communication exchange system.
As shown, the GSMP master 10 sends a 'SYN' message to the GSMP slave 20 (S1) and before the GSMP slave 20 transitions its status to 'SYNRCVD' 2 In response to the Adjacency message of (10), that is, when the 'SYNACK' message is transmitted to the GSMP master 10 (S2), the GSMP master 10 receives 'ESTAB' (3) regardless of the state of the GSMP slave 20. ), And determines that synchronization has been performed normally, the service of the communication switching system is started.
Accordingly, in a situation where the GSMP slave 20 does not enter the 'ESTAB' (3) state, the GSMP master 10 may start the system service by itself. In this case, the GSMP slave 20 may perform the GSMP. Service failure occurs because the master 10 cannot perform the response for the corresponding service.
As described above, according to the conventional synchronization setting method for starting the service between the GSMP master 10 and the GSMP slave 20, a reliable and accurate synchronization completion point cannot be found, which may cause a failure of the service.
The present invention was devised to solve these problems. In the GSMP-applied communication exchange system, the time when the GSMP master becomes 'ESTAB' state is not determined as the service start time of the communication exchange system, but the adjacency states of both sides are all determined. An object of the present invention is to provide a synchronization setting method of a communication switching system that starts a service of a communication switching system by defining a time point of becoming 'ESTAB' as a synchronization completion time point.

In the method of establishing a synchronization between a GSMP master and a GSMP slave to start a service of a communication switching system to which GSMP is applied, one of the GSMP master and the GSMP slave transmits a 'SYN' message to a counterpart and transfers itself to a 'SYNSENT' state. Wait for a response from the other party, and the other party sends a 'SYNACK' message in response to the 'SYN' message sent to the sender of the 'SYN' message, and then transitions to the 'SYNRCVD' state. Waiting for a response of the 'SYN' message, and transmitting a 'ACK' message to the counterpart in response to the 'SYNACK' message sent by the 'SYN' message, and the 'ESTAB' state of itself. Waiting for a response from the other party after transitioning to the other party; and sending an 'ACK' message in response to the 'ACK' message transmitted from the party to which the other party sends the 'SYN' message. Transmitting itself to the 'ESTAB' state, and when the sender of the 'SYN' message receives the transmitted 'ACK' message, the one corresponding to the GSMP master of the two sides recognizes that the synchronization is completed and the communication is performed. Starting the service of the switching system.
At this time, the GSMP master and the GSMP slave are provided with a timer that can set and count a predetermined time, and waits only for the time set in the timer for the response message of the counterpart during message exchange through the above-described steps, If there is no response message after the time expires, the sent message is retransmitted.
Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings so that those skilled in the art may easily implement the present invention.
In addition, it should be noted that the same reference numerals are given to the same components, although belonging to different drawings for convenience of understanding.
3 is a state and message flow diagram illustrating a method for establishing GSMP synchronization in a communication switching system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
As shown, when the GSMP slave 20 first transmits a 'SYN' message to the GSMP master 10 to perform an adjacency procedure (step S10), the GSMP slave 20 transmits a 'SYN' message. The timer waits for a response from the GSMP master 10 and then transitions its Adjacency state to 'SYNSENT' (1).
However, as in the case of FIG. 3, since the GSMP master 10 is not in a state capable of receiving a 'SYN' message transmitted from the GSMP slave 20, the 'SYN' message is not normally processed.
이럴 경우, GSMP 슬레이브(20)는 타이머에 설정된 시간대로 일정 시간 대기하다가 GSMP 마스터(10)로부터 'SYN' 메시지에 대한 응답이 없으므로 'SYN' 메시지를 재 전송하여야 한다(단계:S15).In this case, the GSMP slave 20 waits for a predetermined time in the time zone set in the timer, and thus has no response to the 'SYN' message from the GSMP master 10 and thus needs to retransmit the 'SYN' message (step: S15).
Meanwhile, the GSMP master 10 transmits a 'SYN' message to the GSMP slave 20 to start the Adjacency procedure (step S12), and transitions its Adjacency state to 'SYNSENT' (1), and then the GSMP. Wait for a response message from the slave 20.
GSMP 마스터(10)로부터 'SYN' 메시지를 수신한 GSMP 슬레이브(20)는 자신 Adjacency 상태를 'SYNRCVD'(2)로 천이하고, GSMP 마스터(10)에 전송된 'SYN' 메시지에 대한 응답 메시지 즉, 'SYNACK' 메시지를 전송한다(단계:S13).Upon receiving the 'SYN' message from the GSMP master 10, the GSMP slave 20 transitions its Adjacency state to 'SYNRCVD' 2 and responds to the 'SYN' message sent to the GSMP master 10, i.e. In step S13, the message 'SYNACK' is transmitted.
The GSMP master 10 receiving the 'SYNACK' message from the GSMP slave 20 transmits an 'ACK' message indicating a normal reception to the GSMP slave 20 (step S14) and sets its Adjacency status to 'ESTAB'. Transition to (3) then waits until an 'ACK' message is received from the GSMP slave 20.
GSMP 마스터(10)로부터 'ACK' 메시지를 정상적으로 수신한 GSMP 슬레이브(20)는 자신의 Adjacecny 상태를 'ESTAB'(3)로 천이하고 이를 GSMP 마스터(10)에 알리기 위하여 'ACK' 메시지를 GSMP 마스터로 전송한다(단계:S18).The GSMP slave 20 which normally receives the 'ACK' message from the GSMP master 10 transitions its Adjacecny state to 'ESTAB' 3 and informs the GSMP master 10 of the 'ACK' message to the GSMP master. (Step: S18).
When the 'ACK' message from the GSMP slave 20 is sent to the GSMP master 10, the GSMP master 10 is fully synchronized so that both the GSMP master 10 and the GSMP slave 20 can start servicing the communication switching system. Determining that the procedure has been made, the service of the communication switching system is started.
한편, 앞서 설명한 경우와 같이, GSMP 슬레이브(20)가 전송한 'SYN' 메시지에 대한 응답을 GSMP 마스터(10)가 보내지 않았을 경우, GSMP 슬레이브(20)의 타이머는 설정된 시간 동안 GSMP 마스터(10)의 응답이 없었으므로 타이머가 종료(Time Out)되고, GSMP 슬레이브(20)는 'SYN' 또는 'SYNACK' 메시지를 GSMP 마스터에 전송한다(단계:S16).On the other hand, as described above, when the GSMP master 10 does not send a response to the 'SYN' message transmitted by the GSMP slave 20, the timer of the GSMP slave 20 is the GSMP master 10 for a set time Since there is no response to the timer (Time Out), the GSMP slave 20 transmits a 'SYN' or 'SYNACK' message to the GSMP master (step: S16).
GSMP 슬레이브(20)로부터 'SYN' 또는 'SYNACK' 메시지를 수신한 GSMP 마스터(10)는 자신의 Adjacency 상태가 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 이미 'ESTAB'(3)라는 것을 알리기 위하여 'ACK' 메시지를 GSMP 슬레이브(20)에 전송한다(단계:S17).The GSMP master 10 receiving the 'SYN' or 'SYNACK' message from the GSMP slave 20 sends a 'ACK' to indicate that its Adjacency status is already 'ESTAB' (3), as shown in FIG. The message is transmitted to the GSMP slave 20 (step S17).
GSMP 마스터(10)로부터 'ACK' 메시지를 수신한 GSMP 슬레이브(20)는 자신의 Adjacecny 상태를 'ESTAB'(3)로 천이한 뒤, 이를 알리기 위하여 GSMP 마스터(10)에 'ACK' 메시지를 전송한다(단계:S18).After receiving the 'ACK' message from the GSMP master 10, the GSMP slave 20 transitions its Adjacecny state to 'ESTAB' 3, and then sends an 'ACK' message to the GSMP master 10 to inform it. (Step S18).
When the 'ACK' message is transmitted from the GSMP slave 20 to the GSMP master 10, the GSMP master 10 recognizes that both sides are in the 'ESTAB' (3) state and starts the service of the communication switching system.
Therefore, receiving the 'ACK' message from the counterpart indicates that the adjacency state of the counterpart is 'ESTAB' (3). Judging by the point of view.
As such, the GSMP master 10 and the GSMP slave 20 of the communication switching system to which the GSMP is applied have the state of the GSMP slave 20 even if the state of the GSMP master 10 reaches the 'ESTAB' (3) state. It waits until it reaches (3), and conversely, it waits until the state of the GSMP master 10 reaches 'ESTAB' (3) even if the state of the GSMP slave 3 first reaches 'ESTAB' (3).
That is, the GSMP master 10 and the GSMP slave 20 wait for the other party to establish full synchronization, and when the other party determines that the 'ESTAB' (3) state is the same as its Adjacency state, the service of the communication switching system. It is judged by the point of view.
When the Adjacency state of the GSMP master 10 and the GSMP slave 20 receives a normal Adjacency message from the other party, the Adjacency state becomes 'ESTAB' (3) or 'ESTAB' (3). Since the 'ACK' message is transmitted to each other, it is possible to start the service of the communication switching system only when both sides receive the 'ACK' message.
Therefore, as in the conventional case, the GSMP master 10 alone is in a state in which one of the GSMP master 10 and the GSMP slave 20 does not transition to the 'ESTAB' (3) state, that is, not ready for service. By starting the service, you can eliminate the problem of a service failure.
Although the preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the present invention may be modified without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims. It will be appreciated that modifications or variations may be made. Therefore, changes in the future embodiments of the present invention will not be able to escape the technology of the present invention.
As described above, according to the present invention, the GSMP master does not determine when the GSMP master is in the 'ESTAB' state as a service start time of the communication switching system, but first among the GSMP master and the GSMP slave. Waits until the side transitioning to the state receives the 'ACK' message from the other side and confirms the transition to 'ESTAB', and defines the point of time as the completion point of synchronization to start the service of the communication switching system. Since there is provided a synchronization setting method of the switching system, as in the conventional case, there is an advantage of eliminating service failure that may occur due to which one side does not reach the 'ESTAB' state.
