본 발명에 따른 프린터 및 그를 이용한 인쇄방법에 의하면, 인쇄데이터를 수신하여 인쇄작업 수행시, 오류가 발생하여 인쇄작업을 수행할 수 없거나 현재 인쇄중인 경우 인쇄 처리시간등을 고려하여 네트워크에 접속되어 있는 복수의 후보 프린터 중에서 자동으로 인쇄가 가능한 대체 프린터를 선택함으로써 인쇄에 소요되는 시간을 절약할 수 있다.According to the printer and a printing method using the same according to the present invention, when receiving a print data and performing a print job, an error occurs and the print job cannot be performed or is currently connected to the network in consideration of the print processing time.
