Abstract
본 발명은 EV-DO 망을 사용하지 않을 때 단말기내의 EV-DO 관련 소자의 전원공급을 차단하여 불필요하게 전력이 소모되는 것을 방지하는 기술에 관한 것이다. 이러한 본 발명은, 초기 상태에서 1X를 활성화시키고 EV-DO를 비활성화시켜 대기상태로 천이한 후 음성 호가 시도되거나 시스템의 EV-DO 망이 지원되면 1X 망에서 서비스를 제공하고, 데이터 호가 시도되면 EV-DO를 활성화시켜 서비스를 제공하고 호 종료 후 EV-DO를 비활성화시키고 대기 상태로 천이하는 송신과정과; 상기와 같이 대기상태로 천이한 후 인컴잉 콜이 발생하거나 시스템의 EV-DO 망 페이지가 도착하지 않은 것으로 판명되면 메시지 처리 후 대기 상태로 천이하고, 상기 페이지가 도착한 것으로 판명되면 EV-DO를 활성화시키고 EV-DO 망에서 인컴잉 콜을 처리한 다음 EV-DO를 비활성화시키고 대기상태로 천이하는 수신과정에 의해 달성된다.The present invention relates to a technology for preventing unnecessary power consumption by cutting off the power supply of an EV-DO related device in a terminal when the EV-DO network is not used.
